Terry I did try and source them from local dealer here in the tri Cities. They didnt have a clue about where to get them. I talked to the folks where i bought them from and they did tell me how to help my local vic dealer on where and how to order them. The debate is do I want to tell them so they can tell others around here about those clear lenses or do I keep it to myself so i'm the only one locally to have them. Selfish i know, but we will see.

Just curious VisionNWRider, did you try to source them locally?

Don't tell 'em . . . seems more custom that way! Also don't tell them about TravlinMan's custom jet engine turbine exhaust tips!

I agree, I would keep it to myself!
I am going to wander in to my local dealer and see if they can order for me. If not, I will follow suit with everyone else.

Man314, Love that look! What bulbs are you using? Was it a pretty straight forward install? Everything included with the lenses that is needed, minus the bulbs you sourced? Where did you get the bulbs? I know... too many freekin questions.

This isn't where I bought them, but these are what they look like. When unlit, the have sort of a blue/ silver look that blends in to the aluminized reflector of the turn signal light. When lit, they are amber. Eliminated the big ugly amber bulb. I kept my running lights clear, but you could go with amber here as well. Got my lamp assemblies from Pete at Volusia Motorsports. My Victory dealer had no clue they even existed. I suggested to him that he spend some time on this board to stay current on what's happening with Victory

I was hoping some of you folks could help. I got my clear lenses in and I got three bolts out of one lens and I see there is another bolt at the very bottom of the lens. I cant figure out how to gain access to the bolt on the very bottom toward the head light. How did you folks gain access to this bottom bolt on both lenses? My local dealer wants to charge me like 2 to 3 hours to do this swap out and I would rather try and save a few bucks this time. Please any help would be awesome folks..I have never owned a bike that requires so much work to do such a simple things on it. I love my bike but sometimes it frustrates the hell out of me LOLOLOL.

You have to remove the grey "bumper" . . . I think three screws on each side. I believe this will reveal the lamp screws. May want to search this site for a 2008 shop manual . . . there are places you can download a pdf copy and it is an invaluable source to show step by step how to tear this bike down.

My bad . . . I thought you were talking about rear lamps. Front turn lamps were a B@#CH! I had to remove center console, "tank" body work, fairing, leg fairing, and headlamp.

On the good side, you really get to "know" your bike . . . took me about 4 hours and I'm a total rookie.

You can do both sides in two hours. To get to that bolt you must remove your speakers and the box that contains them. If you dowload the manual, its all there and very clear. Don't skip a step or it will bite you. No need to remove any fairing.

Is there a reason everyone is replacing the front outer bulbs with the silver ones that turn amber when on? From everything I can find, running white lights on the front is perfectly legal.

The silver/amber bulbs are for the front turn signals. The standard amber bulb looks strange through the clear lens. Almost disappears with the silver/blue coating

Why not just use the stock clear ones? VEHICLE CODE state all front facing lights must be white, amber or any shade in between. Why bother with amber at all?

I'm no expert on vehicle lighting laws, but I don't think front turn signals can be clear. I thought either red or amber. I do have clear running lights up front closest to headlamp

I have found nothing that says FRONT turn signals cannot be white. Backs must be red or amber. Fronts can be white or amber.
I think it looks good without amber. OFF or ON.

Can anyone with Highway Patrol experience chime in here? and from what state?

You may be right, but I've never see one with clear turn signals. I have seen where most states don't require turn signals on motorcycles. Each state seems to be different and it's hard to determine where Federal laws take precedence over State.

So these are a direct replacement for what we have on our visions? Because every time I try and get them locally they are all the round end type not the slot type bulb required to replace whats in the clear lens? So if i order these through that site link above they will work on my vision for sure 100%?

Everyone says the 2057A are not the right one for our bikes since they have the tube shape bottom like for our cars so I think the link to that product is wrong. The bulbs are slotted type so I think they would be 3157 or ???? doing research again arhggggg been looking for over month now for the right silver bulb for our vision clear lens turn signals

You need to buy the correct bulbs with the right ends . . . I know I bought this brand / style. I can't remember the exact number on the bulbs. Pls call refer to your manual and talk to your local auto parts store to make sure
