#3 Yea, and no offense but the factory backrest is butt ugly. And NOT removeable. Here's my thought. A nice looking backrest that is removable AND allows for the trunk to be slapped on the receiver, making the trunk quick release also. WE MADE THE BACKREST THE SAME AS THE STOCK ONE BECAUSE THE ARLEN NESS DEALERSHIP AS WELL AS A FEW OTHERS HAD ASKED US TO MAKE IT. NOW THAT VICTORY HAS COME BACK OUT WITH IT WE PROBABLY WILL NOT PURSUE IT AS MUCH. I HAVE ALREADY LOWERED MY PRICE ABOUT $75ISH DOLLARS TO KEEP MINE A BETTER VALUE BUT THE DEALERS WILL JUST BUY IT FROM VICTORY NOW INSTEAD OF ME.

AS FAR AS THE QUICK RELEASE, WE HAVE IT ALL DRAWN UP AND JUST NEED THIS BIKE HERE TO MAKE THE PROTOTYPE. THERE IS ANOTHER QUICK RELEASE ONE ON THE BOARD FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT I DOUBT WILL EVER COME ABOUT PLUS THEIRS HAS STANDS ABOVE THE PANEL. I THINK THAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE SOMEWHAT BECAUSE WHEN YOU TAKE IT OFF YOU STILL HAVE SOMETHING UGLY STICKING OUT. OURS WILL BE 99% HIDDEN.

I'LL LOOK INTO THE QUICK RELEASE TRUNK REMOVAL WHEN I DO THIS UP.
THANKS

This "other company's" is coming soon enough, so don't be so quick to be spreading your fantasies. As for it sticking above, if the panel has to be removed to install it you might as well take quick-release out of the title. Maybe you can call it the "quick-release-after-you-remove-the-panel-to-install-the-wrinkled-backrest". Yeah, that's catchy alright.

I know this will never happen because the R&D involved would be to high to ever be profitable....BUT it's a thread and I can post crazy ideas. A windshield wiper kit....hear me out.....small high torque low profile electric motor, low profile swing arm , single blade system means no linkage necessary. Blade could sit right at or below the front panel. Finally get some use out of that empty rocker switch panel on the dash!!! I have big dreams.......big silly dreams. I figure since we're friends on facebook now that my ideas go right to the top of the drawing board though........

what about a switch to dim (low to high gradually) the dashboard backlight...for long night ride it help tremendously to be able to dim the brightness....so far i have used some privacy filter (from 3M - laptop screen or desktop screen)...once you cut them the right size they just fit in...but i wish i had a switch....

cheers!

How about a organizer that mounts to the underside of the trunk lid? Like this one, but sized to fit the Vision trunk.

RainX etched my windshield to the point that I had to replace it. While it worked fine on my other bike DO NOT USE IT on your VV!!

WD has a ton of custom cheese wedge badges and he's working on some new wedges. He already has the OEM style wedges in both chrome and black.

If it hasn't already been mentioned, I'd like to have illuminated controls housings on the handlebars. Meaning that the function lettering is back lit.

I use a good wax on my windshield and it works fine.

What? no rheostat, no multi-color selection switch?

Why not? Is it too hard?
