The 2008 Vision is my 18th bike and I have only just over 5K on it so I can not speak to its longevity, all I can say is I haven't had all the horrible problems others state they have encountered. I can say it is head and shoulder above any bike I have throw my leg over in the comfort category. I have had a cooler looking bike, many faster bikes, bikes that got better MPG, and yes even bikes the would sprout wings and fly in the sky like a UFO. (I know, I know UFOs don't have wings) But never more comfort and technology. I love my VV, if you don't love yours I'm sure you can find a Hardly Running Davidson dealer to get a "real motorcycle".

OH, OH - LET ME TELL WHAT HAPPENED AT THE RED LIGHT - A MAN SAID, I REALLY LIKE THAT BIKE I SEE IT IS A VICTORY (LIGHTED BADGE) HE SAYS I LIKE THAT BETTER THAN A GOLD WING. I SAY 'WELL, IT AIN'T NOTHING LIKE A GOLD WING. THE FRAME WON'T CRACK, BUT THE FENDER WILL'. WELL, NOT REALLY, I REALLY SAID, 'I KNOW, RIGHT? SO DO I' - LIGHT TURNS GREEN AND AWAY I GO.

Welcome back to the Natural State, Maverick. I'm jealous you got all that good riding in, although I did ride to Michigan and came home the long way this summer.
I have had my share of 'issues' with my Vision, but so far Victory has stepped up and made it right. Did you buy your Vics at Gregory Polaris?

I just had to replace my left headlight at 23,000.
I should have replaced both I guess.

I TRACK WITH VARYDER, THE MIRRORS-ahem-sorry-I track with Varyder, the mirrors are mislabeled. Clearly, objects in them are not so close after all. Anyone else notice this?

That's just funny.

That Amsair is to much money, you can get Rotellair in Wally world for next to nothing.

I bought my 08 Vision premium in December of 08 and as of this morning have 36,738 miles on her. The only issue that I have had is overtightening the oil drail plug and having to get it repaired with a helicoil. I am very happy with this bike.I had only owned/riden Haley street bikes since I was 15 years old, before the Victory. All I can say is I am a Loyal Victory Customer from here on out.

Ew loren2 . . . Rotellair will void the warranty, and cause warts. You don't need that kind of trouble.

To everyone else that's posted. You crack me up. Thanks.

Yes, we bought them both at Gregory. Hubby (Maverick) had also bought a 2006 Jackpot from them before and I had an 08 Kingpin. Good folks, we are lucky to have them so close.

Oh...did I mention....I LOVE MY VISION

The only reason I was mad at my Vic about the width of the handlebars is because it could use a video screen on it 'cause it's so comfortable, I could sit in it all day and watch football. But who wants to watch TV in the rain? So I'm way happier than any cowboy with my New American Motorcycle!

Rainryder,
What does the width of the handlebars have to with a cowboy. I am a true red blooded American Cowboy so your comment makes me laugh. I now ride iron horses but like your comment.

Ride hard, ride fast but above all ride safe and free....

8-ball/Wildman

P.S. Lets set it up to watch the PBR or the Prca stuff....

This being about "all the negative post", I would have to guess that there is something negative about cowboys watching TV in the rain.

Mine do vibrate quite a bit, and I do see my hands, what to do, wish I could get the vibes out.

Oddly enough, the FHP bike was a lot closer in my mirrors than he looked when I passed him. Sixteen mph over will get you a very stern scolding in some areas of Florida.

Don't FL cops have to be like, 70+ to relate to their clientele? How did he catch you with his seatbelt hanging out of his-er-bike, anyway? And his left blinker on...

I've been waiting for someone to mention what air they use in the winter. It's getting close to the time to have to change it out and I'm not sure what brand to go with. (Years ago the Mrs. actually bought this one.)

Probably not Frigidaire. Didn't they go out of business? Probably using CHEAP ASS parts.
