Got a half century of learning going for me.  Doesn't mean much though, as I'm obviously a slow learner.   Seems that most of us fit right into Victory's target audience.   It's good to have some young whipper snappers on board to help with all the new fangled technical gadgets.  I'm a little technically challenged as well as a slow learner.  Oh, I forgot, we've got the Gadget Guru and he's one of the oldsters.

The 59 in my handle is the year - not my age...

Do the math.

44, soon to be 45. I still ride with my 75 year old Dad, who just stepped from his 98 Valkyrie to a 2008 Goldwing. Riding over the mountains tonite to ride with him! He and I will swap bikes here and there...I hope I can get my Cherry tour back from him after he rides it! -----Metalguy

Metalguy; Good to hear about your dad still riding, encouraging too, especially since I'm closer to his age than yours.

Hopefully I can be like metalguy's dad, that'd mean I got at least another 30 years to ride.

I'll be 42 in May, but I started riding my first touring bike back in '95 with a '86 Yamaha Venture Royale, fell in love with the power first, then the carrying capacity, and lastly the handling.......go figure!

Have you thought of changing your handle to "Pappy?"

At 41 I'm about in the middle of the group. I think one reason Victory thinks the Visions target audience is 50ish is due to the price, the other due to it being a Touring bike. The trend has been moving towards baggers and I see a lot of people in their 30's riding Road Kings, Street Glides and such. I think you will see more people in their 30's and 40's on the Street and the Tour will probably be mostly men in their 50's. I happen to like both worlds and can have either one in about 20 minutes.

No problem, I've got four granddaughters, 6, 4, 1, and 3 months and a grandson, 1 year. They're great! I'm having more fun older than I ever did when I was younger.

I had a 2000 Kawasaki Nomad which is one of the only bagger jap bikes there is other than the Goldwing which doesn't count. I loved that bike but I already know I am going to enjoy the Vision even more!

C'mon guys, there's got to be SOMEBODY older than me around here. My new fangled Vision 'sickle is the cat's pajamas....why you don't even have to remember to twist the left handgrip to retard the spark before firin' her up, so's when you jump on the starter pedal she don't kick back and throw ya' over the bars. Hell, you don't even need to kick start her at all. It's the bee's knees.
