Not much chatter here?
I think it looks great, and has good numbers.
Victory/Polaris knocked it out of the park, the leading up to the reveal was worth it.

Looks pretty good I think, similar pushrod and cam arrangement to S&S X wedge engine: Pretty good numbers: Bore and stroke 101mm X 113mm equals out to 111 inches. Narrow angle 49 Degree Vtwin, 2 valve heads ( Pretty big valves ) Intake valves over 2 inches. One 54mm left side fuel injection throttle body with side draft induction. Looks to have very short stiff pushrods. 9.5 to 1 compression. I can see this engine making 90 HP and over 100 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheel stock.

Me too, now I hope they put it in a variety of platforms, one being a full blown touring rig with all the goodies like massive storage space, cruise control and a jammin stereo...............

As someone said earlier, Polaris really hit it out of the park with this engine.

You can see classic Polaris/Victory design features on the engine mounting points........

Maybe the 111 was a nod to the year that Polaris bought Indian and the Original Indian ? 1901- 2012=111

I'm just home from Daytona, the Indian engine looked and sounded very good. But not as good as my ole 08 Vision. I ran it on the Wyotec dyno in the Brute HorsePower Shootout, spun it up to 6000 rpm. I was in third place in the 105-128 cu inch domestic class when I last checked Friday evening.............. Oh yeah 114.64HP with 29,000 miles.................

One more thing Ma Polaris spent a bundle advertising Indian, stuff from free bottle openers to 40' X 20' banners were all over Mainstreet and Front Street and Destination Daytona ( Rossmeyers ) and the Speedway too................The running engine was at Destination Daytona.

Saturday was the finals so I don't know the last results. Maybe on the Wyotec website ?? I did see a 299 HP turbo Harley and a 491 HP turbo Busa. I also saw a completely stock 2013 ZX-14 that made 198HP.......In my class ( 105 to 128 cu inch ) there was a 145HP HD followed by another 139HP Harley, both were 124 inch engines I think..........
