Well  there are 6 bolts holding the windshield on my 2012 Vision. Witchdoctor sells them in sets of 4, I will have to buy 2 sets to get the 6 that I need, plus shipping is $60.00. I will have to save my pennies and get myself a Christmas present.

For the trunk, chrome spoiler that will be able to hold flag mounts if we dont want to go the whole baggage rack. Something clean, low profile that breaks up the line of the passenger seat hump. SO SOMETHING THAT BOLTS ON TO THE TRUNK LID?

Yes, I have not had lid apart yet but possibly use the rear mount hoes with some type of support to stand up to the pressure of the flags. Or possibly use all 4 mount holes for support. If at all possible keeping same mount holes as luggage rack for option to replace with a rack if desired. I guess if this is not possible then something to mount 2 flags in lieu of the trunk rack that would still use original mount holes.

Thanks for asking Witchdoctor! Also thanks for looking into these ideas! YOUR WELCOME THANKS FOR THE INPUT

# 1 The 5 special spacer bolts, that hold the windshield on, would be great if they were available in black, they would look a lot better for everyone that has a tinted windshield. WE ALREADY HAVE THEM ABOUT A YEAR NOW ON THE WEBSITE

# 2 I have been thinking about a pouch to fit under the plastic bottom door in the trunk. There is a neck of a lot of space between the top and the bottom where the you bolt the trunk to the bike. You could utilize that area and put many things in there. Ideally a solid plastic box,(like a glove box) could be Velcroed in, or perhaps It could be made out of Naugahyde or some water resistant material and be Velcroed in, that way it could easily be removed to access the trunk bolts if needed. WOULDNT JUST BUYING SOME PENCIL TYPE BOX AT OFFICE MAX OR SOMETHING DO THE JOB JUST AS WELL? Thanks much appreciated! Denny

I HONESTLY THINK YOU CAN MOUNT A FLAG THERE IN THE HOLES ANYWAY. WE SELL POLE KITS THAT MIGHT WORK. TAKE A LOOK AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. http://buywitchdoctors.com/p/1605/victory-motorcycle-parts-flags-mo...

Make a relocation bracket for the cruise control and audio controls so they don't look like they are so add-on. If you make a reverse of the stock bracket they would be located inline with the handle bar. Yes you would have to take one hand off the bar to operate them but I reach across to operate them now.

Please make the O2 covers!

A cheap fix for the cross-over is high heat black paint.

A cheap fix for the windsheild bolts is satin black paint.

# 2 Perhaps a scoop type ABS or plastic cover that would go behind the oil cooler and force the heated air down and exit out the bottom. This would eliminate all the heat from the left side in the summer and It could be removed in the winter months. I THINK THAT WOULD BE ALOT OF WORK BUT I WILL LOOK INTO IT.

# 3 A quick release rear rack and passenger backrest when the trunk is removed. RACKS ARE BEING MADE. ALREADY HAVE A BACKREST.

#2 Doesn't have to be removeable. Just something that diverts the hot air under the bike instead of where it goes now......my leg!

#3 Yea, and no offense but the factory backrest is butt ugly. And NOT removeable. Here's my thought. A nice looking backrest that is removable AND allows for the trunk to be slapped on the receiver, making the trunk quick release also.

Those would be the biggies in my view.

I really haven't looked at the X bikes trunks, but could a nifty little adapter be made to use them on a Vision Street? Can anyone with photoshop skills see what that would even look like?

FYI, Mike at HMD has developed an oil cooler heat diverter for the Vision but is waiting for the patent before he sells it. That could take up to 3 yrs though. I wish he had heard of .. patent pending.

Will at CycleOps is almost done with a detatchable backrest/rack for the Vision as well.

Competition is always good though.

How about exhaust tips with LEDs in them.
I have them on my Thrush mufflers, but would really like to go back to my L1S1s for a quieter ride.

+1 on the one peice fender for stock wheels. More and more Visions are breaking. +1 for a hot air diverter for the oil cooler.

I've been looking for chrome turn down tips that fit either the stock or Honker's mufflers.  There was someone offering them in black before, but I have never been able to find a chrome set that would bolt on like the other exhaust tips offered.

Just spaceshipy (I swear, it's a word) enough to be cool! They make some generic lighted tips but I wouldn't mind some specifically fit for the Vision. Red, please. Less hassle with cops and I think it would blend in better. Maybe some that flash with the turn signals and/or come on brighter with the brake lights. That's just wishful thinking, though.

#3 Yea, and no offense but the factory backrest is butt ugly. And NOT removeable. Here's my thought. A nice looking backrest that is removable AND allows for the trunk to be slapped on the receiver, making the trunk quick release also. WE MADE THE BACKREST THE SAME AS THE STOCK ONE BECAUSE THE ARLEN NESS DEALERSHIP AS WELL AS A FEW OTHERS HAD ASKED US TO MAKE IT. NOW THAT VICTORY HAS COME BACK OUT WITH IT WE PROBABLY WILL NOT PURSUE IT AS MUCH. I HAVE ALREADY LOWERED MY PRICE ABOUT $75ISH DOLLARS TO KEEP MINE A BETTER VALUE BUT THE DEALERS WILL JUST BUY IT FROM VICTORY NOW INSTEAD OF ME.

AS FAR AS THE QUICK RELEASE, WE HAVE IT ALL DRAWN UP AND JUST NEED THIS BIKE HERE TO MAKE THE PROTOTYPE. THERE IS ANOTHER QUICK RELEASE ONE ON THE BOARD FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT I DOUBT WILL EVER COME ABOUT PLUS THEIRS HAS STANDS ABOVE THE PANEL. I THINK THAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE SOMEWHAT BECAUSE WHEN YOU TAKE IT OFF YOU STILL HAVE SOMETHING UGLY STICKING OUT. OURS WILL BE 99% HIDDEN.

I'LL LOOK INTO THE QUICK RELEASE TRUNK REMOVAL WHEN I DO THIS UP.
THANKS

WE HAD BLACK FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND COULD BARELY GIVE THEM AWAY. WE STILL HAVE BLACK 45* ONES IN OUR CLOSEOUT SECTION OF OUR WEBSITE. WE OFFERED CHROME TO PEOPLE AS A SPECIAL ORDER BUT NO ONE WANTED TO PAY THE PRICE. IF I REMEMBER IT WAS AROUND $399 SET. IT LOOKS EASY TO MAKE BUT A 90* 4" OR SO TUBE IS OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO GET.

I know you are not making passenger arm rests for the Vision , but are you going to make a passenger arm rest for the cross counry tour.
The one from Victiory is ugly and does not fold in when the passenger is not on the bike ,like the one for the Vision does.
