sold my S1L1's for 250.00...got my t sticks from Lloyds for 530.00 280.00 bones for sweet sound and performance. I listened to all avail. T sticks sung to my soul and make my ride buds envious. good luck
No idea when, but if I go with new pipes, it will be the T Sticks.

We did the same thing to 11 and it sounds great. My buddy says if you get the upgraded LLOYDZ air intake filter, the one under the console that it sounds even better...gonna do mine a few weeks.

I drilled mine out and disconnected the O2 sensors per KevinX's instrustion when I picked up my 2013. I still miss my big honkers, but it cost me $30 for a hole saw and extension (that I get to keep and use again) as opposed to 450 for Honkers. Kevin told me 1 1/8 hole. Sounds way better than stock. I haven't rode behind it yet, but my buddy that like it too loud for my taste says it sounds good from behind when I get on the throttle.

Quite frankly, and this is just my opinion, I want the loudest damn pipes I can possibly get!!...what would be considered the LOUDEST pipes anyone has ever heard on a Vision??...so far, I've managed to hear a set of D&D pipes WITHOUT the baffles and they sounded pretty damn loud!...music to my ears...anyone have any other suggestions??....

I gutted the stock pipes.....I think its plenty loud. Cost me a couple hours of time, a few beers and a cutting disc or two.

Yeah I seen a cpl videos on YouTube about that, but I wasn't sure if anyone has ever done a direct comparison of all the pipes out on the market yet...

This is where a Vision-Riders meetup with Visions that have all the pipe configurations would be ideal. Maybe the AVR!

V92SC, I thought at first CFR went out of business. I still have mine but have since put my stock ones back on. I tried calling CFR, but got no answer. Tried seeing if a friend of mine could get some for his Harley. I guess I'm one of the few that have them. Lucky me!

Well I guess my 15 minutes of fame are over with. They were using my bike for the pics of their muffler on a Vision on their website.

Ok I'll bite on this post. Here is my story about pipes and my 08 vision. I started stock, then the S1L2 loved the chrome but too quiet. Then came the Adom Bombs sounded good but I didn't like the chrome shields. I then added cams, fuel controller, intake. I cut the inside out of the S1L2 pipes, sounded ok but at the same time I drilled holes in the honeycomb/catalytic product. The down side was just like KevinX predicted, a loss of a little low end torque in 6th. The sound was good.
I then got another set of S1L2 and wrapped the baffle pipe with fiberglass and zip tied it in place like I'd seen on some high end custom Harley pipes at Sturgis. The end result is the right combination of flow and back pressure for torque. Basically it makes the L1S2 into a straight pipe with the glass to dampen it a bit, the low end torque in 6th is back and the sound is the loudest I've heard on any of the pipes. I do have a hardly used set of Adom Bombs I will sell and a set of L1S2 chromes also for sale. This project is done and I'm very happy on my 08 vision.

Witchdotors unbaffled Muscle mufflers and took the black filler piece out of the stock exhaust tips. Very low and loud sound. Can make the car alarms give off warning chirps.

Another vote for D&D. It is a true muffler/slip on, not a 3/4 heat shield wrapped around a can.

I asked LLoyd (Lloydz Motor Works) what pipes he put on his personal Vision. D&D Slip-ons. He likes the power they give and the sound they make.

I agree on the D&D's personally...they are actual large PIPES and not some small straw with huge heat shields wrapped around!!...my only problem w them is they're not LONG enough!!...if you look at the chrome slash cut pipes on a vision they are 1/2" shy of being flush w the end of the bike/bags...why is that??....I prefer the pipes to extend out past the bags anywhere from a 1/2"-1"...would d&d make a set of custom pipes like that?...or is it gonna hafta be a total one-off custom job??...

Here's a few pics of my D&D's. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Love the slash cut fitting the angle of the bike and they sound great!

No, there are baffles, but you can see straight through the pipe. Is does a great job getting rid of the valve noise you hear in some pipes but leaves a really nice deep rumble.

Update: I purchased a set of D&D slash cut and LOVE them!!!!....they are UNBAFFLED and LOUDDDD!...the only noticeable thing about removing the baffles is the sound....while they are loud as shit , I noticed that the sound is a bit louder out of the right side pipe than the left...primarily bc the right side is more of a straighter shot than the left...I believe there isn't enough back pressure to push exhaust over to the left pipe, so the right is louder...as for performance, it still runs great and I'm willing to lose a small amount of hp for the increase in sound!!...in all, I recommend the D&D's...they're worth the money!....Bigdawg

I put the black D&D slash cuts on my black Vision, and I've been ecstatic with the sound. I'm not into loud. I just wanna KNOW they're there, ya know what I mean. The tone is like music. Hat's off to D&D.
