Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | I've been having issues using the right click save as method. It pops up the window correctly but shows a file called "get-attachement" and labels it as an ASP file. This started a month or so ago. I have to resort to highlighting, copy and then pasting inot "paint" program. It's a pain in the ass. Jedi Jeff, any help here??

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Yeah, not sure what changed. Will talk with Miles to see if he changed anything.
In the meantime, I've been able to download ATTACHED images by right-clicking on the filename. On a Mac, I choose "Download Linked File As.." and get a window with the proposed filename of 'get-attachment.asp' which I simply change to a name of my choosing like "poster.jpg". Note that I change the .extention to jpg. If that doesn't work, save it as the 'get-attachment.asp' and then go in and change the name of the file afterwards to something with a .jpg extension. That should work.
I know it's a PITA right now. Will try to figure our a better way when I get back from my holiday break.

Posts: 548 Mount Vernon, WA United States | I just right-click on the file, choose Save Image As and rename the file to something I understand.jpg. I'll look into why the download link isn't working as it should. It used to. |
