Memphis | I have to say that I'm surprised that the "Al Gore" poster is still there. I knew I was pushing the boundaries of this forum when I posted it but given the current weather throughout the country, it seemed appropriate and funny. Even the cocky "four seasons of riding" southerners (myself included) are socked in. Jedi Jeff (the webmaster for you newbies to V-R) was online this morning when I put it up and he had every right to use his editorial judgement to pull it and I would have respected that call. The fact that it is still there shows that he "gets it" in the spirit that it was meant. Just something to blow off some cabin fever and get us all to springtime. Thanks Jeff. |

Now, having said that, we all have to remain strong and disciplined when we are urged to post radical, off-topic, albeit wildly insightful content on a motorcycle website. I understand its the middle of the freeking winter, the bike is snowed in, the battery may be disconnected, and you find yourself walking around fumbling with the Victory key in your palm like Capt. Bligh's marbles.
