Has anyone replaced theirs? I know it's pricey, but I'd sure like to see pics if you've done it!

Here is Doug Tulloch's machine - picture taken at Southwest Victory Rally this summer.

My VV has the chrome behind the engine, but not the others. Doug's is CHROME everywhere! Quite nice!

Added my own chrome strip on the saddlebag.  I also have the big chrome access panel that goes below the windshield but don't put it on very often.

Here is a video of a 2008 Vision with the chrome.

Can you watch and listen without smiling? I bet not.

Songfan,

Pre Clearwater pics.

I am looking at my video and thinking about that dash I painted black and the black Bezel I installed.

I've replaced the panel beneath the windshield but I'm thinking about painting the rest of the light grey pieces gloss black.

Of course the full boat, including wheels, forks, drive pulley and reverse looks like this:

Don't mean to be a "kill joy" or piss on anyone's parade here but...

I bought my red 2011 VV... just the way it is. To get away from the chrome (at least the extra chrome) Chromes a pain in the ass.

Loved it, my friend! One comment, though. Why haven't you taken a heat-gun to the decal on the top of the tank? Goddanged UGLY!

Oh, while I'm carping - the 'stock' caps on the clutch and brake cylinders need chroming. And there is a front fender piece of chrome that would look good.

And also if you .......   OK, OK, I'll stop.    don

BeeeeUteeful bikes. I've opted to leave it alone on my 2011. It's the white one and I think the chrome really shines best on the darker colored bikes.

That video is over three years old. The sticker was removed over two years ago. I still have the stock caps on the clutch and brake cylinders because chrome ones would cause glare for the rider....black would be nice.

I have the chrome mirror accents and they SUCK. Once again causes glare for the rider.

I have the fender, rear brake and the trunk chrome (around the key cylinder) added.

I do not have the engine mount or timing belt adjuster chrome....yet.

Being an 2008 I do not have chrome forks not wheels....black would be nice.

I have the chrome cylinder caps and never have a problem with glare although I can see where the mirror accents would be a problem.

HDog, I met you at the Memphis Roundup this summer, gave you my card, Killa - Vision Keeper. You were suppose to call me so we could hook up when I came through Chicago. Hit me up here when you get a chance, got some more questions for you. Nice pics!! Just like I remember it.

Peace

With the SSG (Super Steel Gray), I actually prefer the look of the brushed Al over the chrome for overall looks. But that's just me. I do think the chrome looks good though, just not what I want. Although, the brushed front panel is showing some effects of weathering. Nothing a frequent wiping of polish doesn't spruce up for a bit though.

Mine are Arlen Ness. I assume he still sells them. I put those and the side covers on 2 years ago. If not I think cycleops has them.

I love the Chrome. Its really a shame that Polaris charges so much for the Chrome panels.
