Hello All, I am wondering if anyone has manufactured a fender extender for the VV or knows of a Co. selling them?

Fender extender? As in mudflap? To keep debris off the lower front of the bike?

If you are talking about some type of mudflap setup there are some aftermarket options that a few folks have adapted to the Vision. However there have also been a few folks that have done this and ended up cracking the rear fender at the mounting bolts.

btw........welcome to the site !!

HMD sells a extended replacement for the rear of the front fender and a re-shaped front section also.I have the rear on my VV and it really does the trick for keeping the crud & crap out of the front end.

Can you use the extended rear with the stock front? The pic kind of made it look like you needed to buy both pieces.

Thanks everyone, I'll look into HMD? I was wanting an extension of the front fender that will continue the contour of the tire. Maybe in CF?

Pardon my ignorance but what does HMD stand for? To many letters. Who knew ATF had anything to do with guns and booze!

I believe their fender is for 21 inch wheel, could make 18 inch wheel look weird.

There is this thing. I found this a while ago, have thought about it...but don't have it yet. Low cost item that will extend protection another 2" but requires some drilling into the rear part of the front fender. Would like to know if anyone ever went this route.

Well I ended up using a piece of aluminum flashing. Cut it and rolled it by hand then used an industrial strength silicone to clamp it to the inside of the fender. It matches up with the silver paint pretty good. cheap fix!

I just drilled the holes and put on a front mudflap, from hot leathers I believe.

I use the roadhorse one, works fine but requires you to drill two holes.

HLUSN8, I bought this about 2 years ago still on and does help. It was very easy to install. I think I was able to install without removing the fender.
