| Hello All I am considering getting a lift to make it easier to work around mine and my wife's bikes. I have it narrowed down to the following: Ranger RML-750HD Motorcycle Lift Platform With Front Wheel Vise http://www.babco.ca/Automotive-Equipment-Products/Motorcycle-Lifts/Ranger-RML-750HD And the 1200 Lb. Capacity Air Motorcycle Lift by Central Hydraulics http://www.harborfreight.com/1200-lb-capacity-air-motorcycle-lift-94813.html I was wondering if anyone has used either of these? As there are no local suppliers I have to travel to see them. My main concern is whether or not he platforms are long enough for the length of the Vision? The Central Hydraulics lift is 78 3/4 inches and the Ranger is 80 1/2 inches. I measured the bike from where rubber meets the floor and it is about 78 inches. As I have never used a lift before I am not sure how much the vise takes off of the length and how the bike sits on the platform. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has been blessed with such a luxurious piece of equipment. Thanks |

| I have a 1000 pound Handy lift. It woked on my 09 Vision and works on my 2011 XC |

Thanks Definitely a luxurious piece of equipment...lol! +1 on the Handy Industries lift My lift measured 80" long without the ramp.

I have my vision sitting on my lift all winter. The front rotor touches the vice and the read tire is on the lift with the ramp off. |

| The Handy lifts are the nicest on the market but they did go bankrupt so they might be getting harder to find. |

I tried to get some good pictures of the lift, however none shows wheels. Because of my other toys I am looking at paying the little extra and getting the AL1500 with the little jack. Do you have any close up pictures showing lift wheels? With your bike on the lift showing how the vise works and how the bike sits on the lift? thanks |

vermont | yes it has wheels in fact it is the same lift in the pic that thomes has.
the only marking that i can find on it says AIR LIFT. works great what ever brand it is? |

New Mexico | The lift I use has both tires freewheeling about 18" off the ground. Makes many tasks easier: adjusting the belt, checking the brakes & battery, checking front bearings, cleaning. Seems a table would make all that more difficult. Plus I am going to try and remove my rear tire for replacement (Dark Side?) this spring, so will really help there.

Grand Cane, LA | I have the one from Harbour Freight and it is plenty long enough. Just got through about a month ago going darkside and the only problem I had was that you have to remember to keep the bike a little left of center to be able to drop the rear wheel straight out the bottom without hitting the pulley on the ramp. |

This the exact same one I have... Looks like the price has gone up since I purchased it 5 years ago. I would not give it up! Also works great for my mower and golf cart.

Actually, the picture looks exactly like the picture for the Ranger RML-750HD. I checked out your site and looked for a local dealer, however, I had to search through quite a few to find a dealer that had them on their website. The closest local dealer for me is calgary and spokane. I could not find the lift listed on either site. You might want to re-check your suppliers list. Thanks for the info. |

Prescott, Az | I have the Harbor Freight lift and the Vision fits just fine. I made two cheap changes to it however. First I cannot push the bike onto the lift so knowing that I had to ride it on I wanted a chock in front instead of the wheel lock that it comes with. I bolted the Harbor Freight chock in place and it works great. Second, since I had to ride it on I needed a place to for my feet so I could balance the bike. I could have speant a couple hundred for the optional "wings" but instead I got twho $20 HF bike ramps and bolted them to the side. I've been using it for over two years and its great. It rolls easily and stores under my pickup in the garage.

Do you have the Part number for the Harbor Freight lift? For as little as I would use a lift I think it would be fine for me. Is it air pneumatic or foot pump?

Prescott, Az | One thing I need to mention. Since the Vision is enormous and the base of the lift is narrow I decided, for my own peace of mind, to slide a piece of angle iron through the base to futher insure it wont topple over. I say this because I also have a Condor floor chock that costs a fortune (way overpriced). One day I rode my Vision into it. I must have had the bike in it on a slight angle. When I got off the bike the whole rig, bike and chock, tipped over. I fixed that problem by bolting a 2X4 to the base of the Condor. Since then I have been paranoid about an accident. The best advice I can give is go slow because if it can go wrong, it will. |
