| #1 the vision moves around on a windy day and really gets bad next to a semi
#2 the grips are to small and the postilion or angle of the way your hands are on the bars could be better
#3 I don't like the way the dust and dirt and rain get in the saddle bags
#4 the radio antenna sucks
#5 I don't like the way the switches on the dash are not light but the over amount of radio switches are
#6 the heated grips don't get very warm. A match gets hotter
#7 I think there should be more then one turn signal bulb per side in the rear
#8 why is the kick stand right where you put your oil pan for draining your oil
#9 one full day to change a headlight bulb
#10 out of round rear belt pully
Now That all my disappointment are out in the open and off my chest. I want to sell my 2008 vision for a 2010 anniversary red and black vision. I live in monneapolis minnesoat and got up saturday morning threw my leg over my vision went to kansas city had a steak with potato amd a little nap of a hour and came back home. There is nothing better flying down the road going 60 and then running 100 its six hours down and six hours back and would do it again if I hadn't done it all read. I think I am getting a passport and heading north.
Don't write and rip on me just love your bike like I do mine but if I could change something.

Pittsburgh, PA | i think you have some defective parts on your vision. i have a 2008 and my grips get very warm even with gloves on! i also dont have any problems at all riding next to semi trucks. i havent noticed any dust in my bags in 16000 miles. maybe that will come later? i agree the radio reception is the worst i ever saw! even with a replacement antenna it still is a joke.. I never had a problem with draining my oil and the pan hitting the kickstand? what kinda pan are you using that it hits the KS? I cant comment on #9 and #10 and i hope i never have too .. lol i know you want a 2010 but all that is , is the same model with some paint and chrome. why not make a REAL change and get the 2011 model~ ! |

LaPorte,Tx. | Sorry you find the bike somewhat disappointing. I believe if you would have searched this website, almost all of your disappointments were discussed, so we did tell you. The anniversary Vision is a 2009 model not 2010, but that does not take away from it, it is a beautiful motorcycle. There is a used one on ebay now for sale and I believe there are still one or two new ones still around. |

Richmond, Virginia | My automatic ass wiper doesnt do a great job, especially on the intermittant setting. The retractable sun roof sucks because the moment I look up i see the sun. The snow cone machine only works in cherry mode. The heated side bags and dash storage panel works great everything i put in there is always toasty. The heater does not have an off mode. HOWEVER the blinking " PLEASE STARE AT MY BIKE AS YOU DRIVE BY" sign works like a charm. |

I would probably do she same thing and never had one single issue with my 08. Damn i want that 2010 Blue and sandstone though. Have to get one of those, keep my 08 black and get the custom paint on the black one. Thinking of a Bettie Page theme on it. Have a safe and long ride there John Frey. By the way, VARYDER, i am in Pauls Valley, OK this month, will be riding across to Norfolk out of here in the 15th of Sept. Be in town for a week and then ride back out this way for work again. |

New Bohemia, VA | David, I might have to make a career changes. I've got to go to Wisconsin, ----- flying though, day in, day out, not enough time available to ride. Besides, I'm working just 4 miles from the house for the next 2 weeks before going to Wisconsin so the Vision is in the hanger as of tonight for maintenance. Replacing exhaust gaskets and rear bushings, if I can get them. |

| I just purchased a black vision 8-ball last week and have been able to put 900 miles on it. I have to agree with your first point about the wind. The Vision has so much surface area that it acts like a sail when hit by a cross wind.
I went riding yesterday with a group of Harley boys and it took all my strength to control the bike, keeping it stable. The Harleys in did not have this problem. It got a little touch and go there when we crossed the Zilwaukee bridge, which is located between Saginaw and Bay City Michigan. The wind blew me into the next lane just before I reached the crest of the bridge. Lucky enough car behind me was able to swerve out of the way because I would have been a part of his grill.
I have been riding for 30 years now and have had no accidents on a bike. I have owned Honda?s, Suzuki?s, BMW?s, Harleys and now this Victory Vision. I weigh about 225 lbs and find the Vision to have many good qualities, however it becomes unpredictable when riding in moderate to heavy winds. I plan on trading mine in on a Victory Crossroads

#9a No matter how hard you try, you can't clean the fogging on the top of the headlight
#11 Red contrast on gauges is too light. (Fixed on 2009 and up)
#12 The chrome peels on the clutch cover.
#13 Is this thing a popcorn machine?
#14 Why does it feel like ice on wet tar snakes?
#15 Gear indicator doesn't work 100% of the time.
#16 Gatlin tips are too hard to clean.
#17 Battery won't hold a charge if you leave the trunk open too long.
#18 Why does the rear brake need to be bled every year?
#19 I'm in the dumps about these issues. Someone told me to look at the Motivational Posters. Where are they?
#20 I hear Donetracey knows the best oil to use, but won't tell us.

San Antonio, TX United States | I am so glad i have an 2008 Tour premium and i have only had to realign and tension the belt one time in 38K miles and had my left hand radio controls go out one time. Other than that, none of the items in all the lists have ever affected me or my bike. Never heard of the bleeding of the rear brake once a year till i just read this last list and i am actually a Victory Tech. Had one bike fresh out of the crate that i had to bleed the rear master cylinder through the front caliper, and that happen to be an 08. And i dont know of one bike that doesnt feel like your on ice when going over tar snakes. They are slippery, you know sort of like the oil they are. But you do notice that kind of weight shifting more so than on a lighter bike. |

San Antonio, TX United States | oh, sorry, i understand now. I guess i was taking RainRyders suggestion and using Makers Mark, so i was guilty of Drinking and Typing. lol.
I never take comments all that seriously, i know it takes all kinds to make this world go round. Lord knows i have stepped on a few toes with my off the cuff and calous comments, but i dont do it maliciously. I will throw a few cents in now and then just to see what come back. I have not been on this forum as i should be over the last year. Been busy riding more than anything and a few others things.
As for the handling issue, i have to agree with Kaydee, i was on this site heavily in the first year and a half. The general consensus with handling always came down to not fighting her. I know there are so many people that have huge amounts of years of riding experience, me included. And even some of the old dogs had to finally admit that they had to rethink the way they rode. Over the last two years of riding mine, with the high winds across parts of Nevada, New Mexico and Kansas along with my time back home around Virginia beach and crossing the long bridges there and the 20 mile expanse of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and the winds coming off of the atlantic with gusts as high as 20 and 30 i have been hit with, i have never had the bike change lanes on me. Yes i have shifted from one side of the lane to the other, but not in a jerky manner. But i do strongly suggest to anyone thats not comfortable on the bike to please change what they ride. No one should ride if they are not comfortable with what they are on. |

| My wife and I just rode from Michigan to Indiana in 30mph wind gusts and the bike handled it really well. However we were loaded down prett well. But this week I'm riding by myself, with the trunk on and basically unloaded and the wind is moving me all over the road. However, in similar conditions without the trunk I find the bike handles the wind really well. I agree with the comment about riding the wind, and not fighting it. This bike seems to snake through the wind, which I can only believe has a lot to do with the fixed fairing. But seriously, if you aren't on a road trip and can afford to take off the trunk, give it a try, to me it feels like a very different bike when the trunk is removed, and the wind issue is just one of the things I noticed.
