We'll have 'em here waiting, but how about going one better and still getting them before yours break? Try this... sell your existing ones now, while they are still good to someone looking to replace one or both. They'd even sell individually soon enough. You'll always find takers looking for a replacement for say $25-50 a panel, but once they break they're worthless. Just a thought to help you max out your hard earned buck.

And Rick, thank you for the good review, hope you enjoy them. Can't wait to see the lowers on too!

Glad you're pleased with your deflectors Mark, and we appreciate your business. As for new goodies for the Visions we're coming out with versions of our Vision Retro and Winged V trunk racks (if you haven't seen them yet go to: http://www.cycleopsusa.com/custombillet.html#vr) for the Vision passenger backrests, as well as 5/16" mirror polished solid Stainless Steel billet flag staffs for our racks. If you haven't browsed our entire site yet please do so and you'll find many other items for the Vision already there.

Working on the brackets right now Dave. Plus my machinist is making more decks for them. His CNC is down for service and hopefully it's back up and running soon. If it is, it'll be a few weeks before they're welded up and ready. Stay tuned...

Hey Will,
You know what would really help would be if you put an additional 3/16" or slightly larger hole in your lower to give us access to the adjusting screw. That way we could adjust them without having to take them off first. The way it is now it's a guess each time. If we could adjust the screw tension with the lowers still on it would be more accurate and quicker.

Do it and I'll buy a black set asap. I don't want to drill the plastic ones since they aren't very strong in that area anyway.

Hi Marc,

I won't be doing the hole on the standard production versions, but I have no problem doing little mods to our parts when necessary.

Go to my site and place the order. I have raw sets going to the coater tomorrow. I'll add the holes you want to a set just for you before I drop them off. I will need to see the exact location you want it too since I don't have a set of hinges here to locte the spot without your help.. I'd need to see something before morning since I have to get my stuff to him early tomorrow. See, that was easy...

Hey Will,

Will you ever think you will making the brackets to place the lowers on the bike? I can't see buying a clear set just for brackets? Just wondering? I would like to get a set of the Burgandy ones for both, top and lowers? But how do I get a discount if i wanted to purchase? Do i need to join somewhere or how can I get the discount code?

Thanks,

Hi Will,
I just figured out a way to adjust them without adding a hole so no need. I'm ready to order a set. What is the coupon code?

Eric, I have a reasonable source for you for the OEM kit complete with the hinges for aboutï what I could offer them for, if not less. You have a PM.

Marc, You've got a PM too.

And Mac, they came out AWESOME! That look is simply friggin' fantastic! More pics! Did you do anything on the lowers too?

Once I had the limited edition paint scheme on the bike, I noticed that right where the uppers hang is the spot that has the most intricate paint
job on the side of the fairing. With the uppers flush with the body, it disrupts the flow of the design, so as you know, I ordered a set of uppers and lowers pre prepped for paint, then took them to my paint guy. We placed the uppers in position and marked the design right onto them for matching scheme so when the uppers are flush the look is cohesive. When they are open, it looks like lightning bolt flaring out of the side of the bike. We considered doing something on the lowers but decided that keeping them black and sealed would look better then
"over blinging" the bike. I will post some more photos, but Im very happy on two levels. 1. Your lowers and uppers will never cause me to cuss again because they wont crack or chip. 2. I have a bike that is truly one of a kind.

I actually just switched out the SSG to a new powder blend and the match is pretty darn good. The primary difference in paint and powder coat is the gloss of clear coated paint being deeper than a powder coated finish. Other than that, it's as close as it can be.

Here's a few pics of the first part to hit the streets in the new SSG mated powder coat, plus a few mounted up. What do you think?

It isn't often that I agree with the manufacturers design method, but in this case I do. The clear deflectors don't take away from the bikes lines, but these painted ones (or chrome) make a different set of lines.

I just wish you could make us a set of transparent aluminum ones.

Give them just enough time to yellow and/or get marred up by road boogies. Then they simply look  n a s t y !

As for clear aluminum, I'm working on that one now. So far the only thing I came up with were invisible ones. Send me your info and I'll bill you out for a set that you'll never see!

Good point, but yellowing is caused by using the wrong detergets to clean them (ie. glass cleaner).  Glass cleaner is a big no no on unpainted plastic. Road snot, hmmm, not much can be done about that.  Cracking is the biggest concern I have.

I just love the lines of the bike, and those deflectors change those lines to something like NOPI.  But you do need them to keep cool or warm.

That set with the matching paint and stipes might change my mind, I wish I could see more shots of that concept.  Solid colors like the OPs aren't my mug of beer.

BTW, I already traded in my invisable ones in for the visable ones, and the visable ones work much better.
