| my wife is 5'5" she said on our Ness Vision 09, she sits so high that she gets all the wind blast and the only option is a full face helmet. Anyone tried changing the seat or other options. The seat would probably be super $$$$ since is is a Ness custom seat |

New Bohemia, VA | Argh. do you have the electric windshield? If so, raise the shield, if that don't work, get the taller windshield. I ride all the time in the low position, but when I have a pillion it is in the full up. It's funny to hear my wife get on the Vision and she says "will you roll up the window please?" |

Columbus, Ga | When I demo'd a vision I went by my house and picked up the wife unit to get her thoughts. We went down the rode a little and I asked her how she liked it. She said it was kinda windy. I said really, I can fix that and raised the electric windshield. Her reply was "OH!!!! thats nice!!!" She then unpromted said "I would ride to the beach on this". My wife hardly ever rode with me and certantly not any kind of distance. Beach is 4 hours away. I used to ride a Street Glide. Needless to say I now own a Vision. She is 5'-7" |

Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | I had the stock rear seat cut down almost and inch. She sits lower and likes it. |

Stockton, California | My wife is 5"11". The same height as me. While on surface streets it is fine but when we get up to speed on the hiway the shield gets raised up. (I get a knock on the helmet if I forget...HaHa). Once the sheid is up there is no problem for her. This was a big reason why we bought the Vision. |

| My backwarmer is 5-10 barefoot. I am 6'2" We wear shorties and as said here before she has significant eye deficit. Very sensitive to pressure and light also. I suggested a full face. We know how uncomfortable they are. Wind catches her right on the bridge of the nose. I have the tall victory windshield all the way up. I have been curious about cutting down the seat. Wroman, Does it affect the warmers and who and how was it done and was it expensive. Is there an alternate aftermarket or stock seat which fits which is lower. The scoop in the back is also an issue for the way it cants her back so will cutting down the seat remove that? I'll do almost anything to make it more comfortable because if not I will end up back on an ultra which she called the princess seat. if mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy.
My daughter also has the same complaints. liked the ultra a lot more for the ride. |

dinwiddie, va | my wife is 5'7''. We ride the VV 8ball with the stock blade windshield. when she is on I raise it up to the mid setting (manual, not push button) and she is good to go on highways too |

Boydsville, AR United States | Mine is 5'8". The wind catches her on the forhead with the Vision Tall. I got the biggest honken Cee Bailey's that I could lay my hands on. Moma is now happy, so I'm happy! Anyway, thats what worked for me. |

Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | Butt Buffer did my seat mods. He was able to lift the heat elements and make the mods. I also had gel installed front and back , there is gel in the rear lip to the passenger seat and after she is very comfortable. Seatheaters still function. |

Woodland Hills, CA | Mine is 5'-6", and I am 6'-4", so she is glad to have the extra height. I have the tall windshield (actually a Cee Bailey), but she also wears a face shield, and says she is very happy. While she admits to a small difference, we almost always ride with the windshield in the down position. |

ITS A FRIGGEN MOTORCYCLE !!! ....take the car instead... seriously, I cant believe with this many options someone wouldnt be happy
and have to resort to losing seat comfort by cutting a seat down.
1. My dear, why dont you drive the car so you can be totally void of the outdoor, natural, experience.
2. Sweetheart, my suggestion to you is to lose some of that fat ass you got and I can put you in the trunk so you are void of all
wind, sights, sounds, and smells of the MOTORCYCLE EXPERIENCE.
3. My dear loving wife/girlfriend/significant other/rented prostitute of the day/wife unit, I know you love riding on the back of the bike, but the wind in your face is part of the experience. But, because I love you so very much and you mean more to me then the bike....ugh....
I just wont drive any faster then 15 mph so the wind wont bother your delicateness.. oh, you should probably call the restuarant and tell
them that instead of us being there for dinner, to expect us instead, for breakfast.
I think Hallmark has a card for this LOL |

| va paradox. re: number 2. i guess you are in that category and speaking from experience. Recommend to her pilates and atkins. I am not and don't appreciate your ridiculous reply. My grlfriend has significant eye and back problems aggravated by the wind and seat. She still puts herself on the back of the bike because she loves to ride. Maybe you should go look at my post regarding our recent trip to "the wall" and what she put herself through to accomplish it because she wanted to honor those who have fallen and those two Marines to whom she gave birth who are currently in harms way to keep your sorry ass safe. Add in several rides recently for Warriors watch welcoming home returning Veterans. ANYTHING that makes her more comfortable is a plus for us. Yes it is a friggen(sp) motorcycle and no you couldn't carry her water bucket. Actually if it weren't against the rules here i would tell you to eat shit. I'm sure Hallmark has a card for that too. |

The Cee Baily windshields are wider then Victory windshields. It is not much but it could help in some crosswinds.
I have had a few crosswinds be so strong that I am would have lost the helmet if it was not strapped on using the stock windshield. On any other ride it would have been much worse but these still do happen on the Vision from time to time.
