Hey all, I am WAY exited to be a Victory Owner...and more than that I am looking forward to the Midwest winter snow to clear up so my Vision can get more time on the road than in the garage! Not that it hasn't braved the winter weather already. I really wanted to find a Super Steel Gray ride and was able to find an exec demo SSG 2008 Vision Tour-Premium as new at RJ's in Ottumwa, IA. Woo hoo!

I have been getting some great insight from this Forum already. Awesome organization.

Congrats on the Vision! You're gonna love it. Hopefully we'll run into each other out there once the snow melts.

Hey emanIA,

I'll be looking for you in DM, I work for JD and will be spending some time out in Ankeny working on a project throughout this year. Plan on riding out there when I can...even though that is kinda frowned upon by work. OH WELL, I bought it to ride it!

LOL...Although it was my (I mean our) "stocking stuffer" for Christmas, that's not my living room. That's the back 2-car garage...one 2-car garage wasn't enough so I added another 24'x26'!!! Grant it, we have 4 wee ones so that's the "toy garage" for all of us.

I was hoping you would see the reply LOL
you have one sweet ride there Rick
Careful when you come to Ontario this summer, 30 MPH over the limit and you loose your vehicle as well as your license.

Smadge is right. Be prepared for long gas stops while you show off the bike and answer questions. Most people I come across are very curious and interested in it.

Give me a shout when you're going to be in town. Most of my friends have never seen two Visions in one place before other than the Indianola bike night.

Congrats....great color, by the way. You will repeat these answers..."Victory"...."Yes, it is American" "I love it" "It does ride smooth" and other variations... But I don't mind...if I didn't know any better, I would probably ask too.

Congrats HLUSN8 on the new bike. I have purchased several bikes from R&J and really like the group there. The boys in the back are top notch and have taken care of every issue I ever had without a problem. Enjoy the ride, I'm sure our paths will cross someday.

Before the Vision I rode a 'zuki Blvd. Liked the bike plenty, did a lot to customize it but once I made the mistake of test riding the Vision back in October...well, that's all it took. I held out a few months but caved when I found a dealer with the '08 SuperSteel Gray (as new) that I really wanted. Here is a pic of what I was cruisin' on...
