I thought I had a contender. I once carried a sewing machine on the pillion seat.

Lone Ranger posted on another thread that he carries his bagpipe case.

Ranger may be the hands-down winner right from the start... but let's hear some of the weird/strange things you've carried on your bike. (Don't tell me you mother-in-law... or Chris of varyder fame... we all know those are both completely inscrutable).

Have fun!

My sons and I went to the Renaissance Festival here near Houston and they all Bought Ninja Swords. So - needless to say, we all had Ninja Swords hanging around out necks as we rode home. Got some very odd looks from vehicles but no Road Rage

Fire wood this year when up by Sturgis. The trailer behind me was for the Harleys in the group, there is one thing the Harleys can do that my Vision cannot do and that is go up the ramp.

.22 rifle, was trying to see if I could mount a gun rack back there, like in a pickup truck.

Strangest thing carried on my bike was POLLOLITTLE. What a strange pain in the arse, low down, sideways, backwards, and upside-down that flea rider that was.

A few years back I carried a five foot white teddy bear from my sister's house back to mine. I had to improvise a bungee seatbelt but what got asked at a traffic light on the way home, "where is the bear's helmet", I replied that since his brains were already nuthing but stuffing we didn't need to care about protecting his head from an impact. LOL

Never have had a dog small enough or well trained enough to ride with me; but when I was in college I had a Grey Squirrel pup that adopted me one day while I was on a walk. He rode to class inside my leather jacket , occasionally he would climb onto my shoulder at traffic lights. Little cat sized collar and a 36" rawhide boot lace attached to my belt loop gave him lots of climbing room.

He ended being a fickle sort, and decided that he liked the "hippy chick" I was trying to court better than me. She decided the same thing, pretty quickly too!

They ended up together. My german shepherd didn't think either was much of a loss; she was apparently a better judge of character than I.

Three 3' x 3' pieces of plywood. The guy I was riding with had other wood parts on his bike but could not carry these. I said "Dont make two trips, I take the rest."

Bass guitar and amp. I have carried all kinds of stuff thru the years, but that is my most recent freight.

Always wanted to carry extra fuel...just not sure how or what to carry it in. I've seen the small fuel containers but maybe something in the 2 gal range would be cool.

Even though It wasn't a Vision, I vote the squirrel. God, they're good with gravy and mashed taters.
