Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | My passenger has found that they hold a styrofoam cup of coffee or soda from the convenient store quite nicely. Most sizes of cups fit perfectly in the area surrounded by the seat, rear speaker, and handhold. Her leg naturally sits in a position on the Vision that keeps the cup from tilting forward under hard braking. |

Cleveland, GA | I like them. They are great for attaching bungee cords or net to when the trunk is full or carrying an item that won't fit in the trunk (40 pound bag of dog food; bagpipe case; etc).

20 miles west of Chicago. | If you carry a T-Bag or something similar on the rear seat, as I do, I would think the grab handles are needed to use for attaching the tie down straps and/or bungees. I wish some lashing points for luggage had been designed into the bike, but the rails seem to be it. It would also be nice to have a couple of lashing points for use with the trunk luggage rack, other than the rack itself, which, in my opinion, is poorly designed for it's purpose. Though of course it can be used for it's intended purpose, it is pretty minimalist with respect to load security. |

Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | You definately need them for securing the Tour bag or anything you strap down on the passenger's seat. Plus, I think they add something to the look. It looks to "Naked" without them. |

Jasper, MO | Momma says they stay. I also found them quite useful when I discovered a new rifle I "needed" at the gunshop. Just laid the rifle, in it's box, across the seat and bungeed it down to the handholds.

Richmond, Virginia | Since im the only guy out here who chromes em, i say keep em after all Daddy gotta make a livin...... besides IMHO, the bike is more balanced visually and artistically in profile with them, if you remove them, the bike looks like its sinking into the ground from the back end. |

Memphis | When I had my parts color-matched, I had him put four coats of clearcoat on the front grill and the rear valance (for road grime) and the hand holds (for tie-downs). I wouldn't want to try to pick up the bike without them. |

Hartland, , WI | My wife misses the feel/security of the folding armrest she had on my BMW...and she would not ride with me if she didn't have those hand holds to clamp down on when she gets a bit anxious! No brainer because we have a great time when we are out on a cruise. |

New York State | The hand holds now come in Black because of the 2011 Red/Black paint.
I ordered them and my dealer says he knows of a painter who chromes plastic well.
So I will be getting chrome handels at some point. |

My Grandmother called them the Bloddy Pipes I asked why ?
When you hear them someone may have died.
I have not gotten a price on Plastic Chrome I would love to get it at a fair price but it is about the last piece of the puzzle for Deer Crusher.
When I get my Luggage Rack I will have all the body chrome Victory sells but mirror bezels.
Anyone have a good price on Mirror Bezels ? |

| Well I'm the fool I just pulled mine off. I like the looks and when you look in the mirrors you see more. My baby holds onto me and I like that. By the way that little stool works great arounf the bike<br />

SC, Bluffton | In South Carolina, and probably other states, it is the law for the passenger to have a grab
strap over the seat, or handles. Just my 2 cents.
