I put one on my Vision a couple of weeks ago and it works great! One thing to keep in mind is that this really should be called a ride off center stand as the rear tire remains in contact with the ground when on the stand and those that have been around Honda Goldwings for awhile will recognize this because a ride off center stand has been available in the Goldwing aftermarket for a while. If you need to raise the rear tire off the ground all you need to do is put a piece of 1 x 4 under the stand to give it that little extra height.

Dennis, check out my gallery, not the greatest of pictures, but you can see a little bit of the stand in one of my new paint pictures.

FYI, I've taken ALL the air out of the rear suspension and the rear tire is still in contact with the ground, with normal riding pressure (50-65 psi for me) in the rear suspension the bike has a little bit of a not so solid feeling side to side but it definitely would take a very forceful deliberate act to get the bike to tip sideways off the stand.

kinda funny my mother in law asked what accessories i wanted for my Vision. Since there isnt much left, she thought it would be
good to call my dealership since they knew me and knew what I had on the bike, and asked them what they thought i would want.
I just turned 49 last week, so they suggested "why dont you get him one of the old man center stands for his bike"........ LOL I wasnt aware that a center stand was indicative of old age.... they laughed and thought it was funny,,,,,,,,,,,,, I said NO.

I have one that I bought from a member of theVMC King Bagger. I have not installed it yet but will post my thoughts of it once it is on later this week.
I really hope his is better than the Victory unit SongFan had his nightmare of an experience with.

Installed the "King Stand" today. Perfect fit and it works great. I can't see how you could "drag" any of Neal's center stand. The "step-on" tang rides up high under the left rear tip-over and the legs are completely hidden under the bike. The only thing I would caution riders about is - go slowly over "speed bumps (mountains)" , as you COULD possibly drag part of it that way.

No pics yet, sorry. CHL

Pictures of the King stand would be appreciated! If it is more effective I just might take the hit to the wallet and change from the Victory stand to the the King stand.

Is the "King Stand" a ride-off or is the back tire off the ground?

It's a "ride-off" type. Will try to get some pics posted soon.

I understand from the earlier post on the King stand, that it is rather easy to lift the bike up onto the stand. Is this true ? How much higher does the bike have to go up to raise the rear tire off the ground ? Can you place a board under the center of the bike so that center stand will go up on the board, raising the bike higher ?

Yes it will if you have a board under the stand. You only need about 3/4". Rember the higher the stand the harder it is to lift so you mite have to have one under the stand and one under the tire, then take the rear board out to make it work. The Vision's rear suspension is to soft. Neal.

Hello Travelin Man
Could you clarify if this is the Polaris stand; the discussion that followed your post went on to discuss a King stand? Either way, I assume you have no clearance issues.
Thanks
