OHIO | It has been said on here numerous times, and I agree, LED lights should have came from the factory on the Vision. But besides that what other changes should Polaris do to the bike? 1) LED lights is a definite! 2) I would like to see some sort of lighting on the handlebar switches similar to the radio console. I do not like the switches all in the dark. The cruise switch will light up,,, why not do the rest. 3) Ball on kickstand. Maybe it is just me, but some times I struggle slightly getting my boot/shoe on it. 4) Low fuel. When this comes on in the display, don't have it overtake every other function!! 5) Exhaust crossover pipe under drive belt. I think this is the uglist part on the bike! Make a crome cover for it or paint it. Any others you care to add,,,,,,,,, |

Eliminate distortion near edge of windshield.
Design body panel under trunk to permit installation without removal of seat and tag.
Extend rear edge of front fender.
Provide handlebar adjustments.
Place switch for driver's seat heating element on dash.
Optional remote control locks.
Incorporate turn and brake lights into trunk lights. |

| LOL, this is a funny thread. Funny as in what folks prioritize. I'd make THREE changes to the Vision.
1. I'd install stiffer fork springs
2. Incorporate a fork brace
3. Backlite the dash switches for grip heat, 4 ways and HID
I don't have a problem with the seat swt position and handlebar controls are muscle memory items (taking eyes off the road is bad, lol). You can remove the trunk without removing the seat and license plate, don't need LED's, the kickstand has already been addressed on 2010's, bags are fine, Low fuel function is perfect as the dash changes drawing attention even if you don't see the little fuel lite, and the crossover is easily painted with engine black enamel (don't even need to remove it). All windshields produce a little distortion so I have no issues there either. Maybe Victory should offer a choice on bars without needing to purchase different ones if you have a longer reach, that would be nice.
Maybe Victory will incorporate a keyless ignition at some point. Would be a great addition but definitely not a necessity. Oh and I'd much rather have a CD player than the Ipod.
oh just thought of something they SHOULD add, a damn external antenna so the weatherband actually receives. |

Reno County, KS | CHANGE THE TRUNK!!! Get that high thing down lower and actually matching the bike's contour lines. Integrate it into the rear trim better. I'd own one then! I like the space you guys with trunks have but do not admire it's shape. I'd sooner have an HD box trunk on back. Then we can talk about a truely modular (quick release) system. Also...
CAMS! Why did I have to buy aftermarket cams to make this thing run like it needs too? |

I have found out where all the controls are and have learned to work them. And my dealer worries about oil, tires, stuff like that.
KevinX gave me some additional ponies cuz you can NEVER have enough of those - but that's not within the subject of this thread.
So - I won't - and wouldn't change anything. Might buy a new one if it is truely 'better'.... I just LOVE what I got - and at my age, I'm thinkin' the SPCSHP is my last one. |

Three weeks ago one of my high beams went out. I spent a couple of hours changing it. I was going to change the other one, too, because I know that in cars, when one light goes, the other ususlly does, too. After the first one, I no longer had the desire to change the second one. Two weeks later, BOTH high beams were out! (I think I got grease on the one I changed). I took it to the dealer to change it, 1) because I didn't want to go through that again that quickly, and 2) just in case it was an electrical issue. It was the bulbs. My wrench said he wishes there was just a half-inch more clearance. It took him several hours to change them, too. Bless his heart; I felt sorry for him! |

Northeastern Penna. | How about the Victory concept motorcycles that were tossed around here ? Checking out the new Vision Bagger, I would start out with, definitely larger side bags, better design of the passenger seat - looking at the pictures of the concept Vision, it looks like that seat will be redesigned.
Lighted controls on the handlebars should have been done with this bike having 5 years of
pre-production R & D. Come on Polaris, this is a no brainer.LED lights-yes. Reverse being standard
is a yes. A recap: 1) Larger Sidebags
2) Redesign of Passenger seat
3)Lighted Handlebar controls
4) LED lights
5) Reverse- standard |

nothing to whine, complain, criticize, or find fault with......... or just make it look like a car, that should do the trick.

THE FRIENDS THAT CAME A LONG WITH IT, the fun that is always incorporated around it. The excitement just looking at it in the garage knowing its mine. All that far outweighs, bigger this, smaller that, adjustable something or other, ...... but i was serious about the cappucino machine...... |

New Bohemia, VA | If you asked the question "changes YOU would make to your motorcycle" my answer would have been. - make it more comfortable to ride for a longer period of time.
- make it lower in the seat so when moving it around in parking it will be easier; essential for big, heavy bikes
- don't make it so top heavy
- give me more than two places to put my feet
- give me better weather protection to keep in the saddle longer even in adverse weather
All of these changes brought me to the Vision and they are the important things to me, all else is just fluff. I went on a nice little ride with some folks and was glad to have been riding my Vision. We rode for about an hour and a half and only counting the big bike riders, they were ready to stop. We had little choice but to park in a gravel parking lot and the big bikes were having a time to get situated. All, a reminder I'm glad I made the right choice for me. If you make dramatic changes to the Vision, then it won't be a Vision. Even the concept Vision bagger is a bastardization of the Vision and should not be called a Vision. I'm not trying to be a purist, but when you got a good thing going, leave it alone, meke what you "think" is better and sell it as such. Victory has a horde of choices coming up, almost as many as the Motor Company so everyone who rides and choses Victory should have a happy hiney. I wanted to roll on the ground and laugh when I saw the big HD with the shaking motor, but the bike stood still. There is a heap of expensive technology involved to have a shaking motor and keep the bike smooth. Why not make the inprovement and make a smoother running engine? Because that is what folks wants. I'm hoping the Vision II doesn't come with ABS when I buy again in about 8 years. Maybe it will have a new and improved flux capacitor with no popping... |

That is the first time I have heard of such a problem/comment, and have not seen any such issue on my own bike. So I and im sure
several of us would be interested to hear what the issue is with your bike. Thanks (might want to do an original post and not attach it to this topic as it may not get read) Mac. |

That is one thing I really like about the bike!!!! I've never had any part of the bike rub the ground while cornering or straight on riding. |
