I've been waiting for over a month for 5 pieces of blig. Has anyone recieved these parts yet? Chrome Side Covers, Access Panel, Grille Set, Inner Fairing Set, and Tailgunner Exhaust Tips. These were supposed to be shipped to my dealer in late Dec......then early Jan.......now my dealer isn't sure when they will get there.

I'm still waiting too, my dealer has sent the pieces to a local chromer and they look really sharp. But since I've paid for the Victory parts...I'll continue to "impatiently" wait.

I too am awaiting the chrome "bling" for mine. I can wait, as it is winter, and come spring, when I get to ride more, there will be less sand on the roads to mess up my chrome!!-----Metalguy

All the chrome in the online Vision catalog shows out of stock. Must be a lot of Vision owners with extra chrome. Sounds like the bike delivery problem all over again.

I picked up my Inner Fairing Set yesterday, still waiting on the rest. A quick glance at the instructions shows a fair amount of work to put them on. I think I'm just going to wait on the rest so I don't have to take off some of the pcs. twice. Has anyone got the Tailgunner Tips yet?

I recieved most of my chrome pieces in the last two weeksFinally got my side panels Thursday. Last piece of the chrome puzzle is the stage 2 exhaust and gunner tips. Most likely won't be here for the trip to bike week 2008. OH WELL SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

You mentioned stage 2 exhaust and gunner tips. Did you mean the level 2 exhaust? I'm also curious to the use of the gunner tips on the level 2 exhaust. According to the accessory catalog, the gunner tips only work with level 1 and stock exhaust. In looking at pictures of the level two, the are a chrome slip on which is completely different than the stock and level 1. Let us know if the gunner tips fit on the level 2. Thanks.

From what I've seen and been told the Tips will not work with the Level 2 exhaust. The Level 2 is a 1 pc. and there is no way to fasten the tips to them. This is really too bad as I wanted a little more noise than the Level 1 has to offer. I guess it will make the XM radio easier to hear.

I'll do my best to make a long story short. I left the inner fairings (and the instructions) at the dealer since I'm still waiting on several parts that make more sense to put on when the rest arrive. My dealer also said he would install the parts for free.........after glancing at the instructions I think I will let him. I don't think they will be that hard to install, just time consuming and may require two people. With that said I will do my best to describe the process from memory (which may not be real good) The Inner Fairings are held on by 4 bolts. 2 you can see while it is installed on the bike, (bottom 2) the other 2 are blocked by the gas tank. Long story short you have rto emove the painted panel before you can unbolt the inner fairing. This requires removing the cover over your speedo and tach (use a plastic knife to pry off) and your center console. Remove the Access Panel, then the mirrors, then the speaker grille. This should give you access from the top. On the front of the bike you will need to remove the Grille Set (trim around the front of the fairing) This should give you access to the front of the painted panel. From here you will need to remove however many bolts holds on the painted panel/inner fairing assembly onto the bike. Once it is off then you can remove the inner fairing from the painted panel. Sorry for the rough instructions, I would have looked at them closer if I knew I was going to try to explain the process to someone else. Good Luck!

VisionTex- I forgot a few steps. After looking at my bike I remembered the front tip over points need to be removed. Also, all of the painted parts around the console (dare I call it the gas tank?) will also have to be removed.

Why buy antena? Simply un glue it. Many products out there. Also if it is the tippical auto glue simply apply heat with your wife's hair dryer will release it.

CHL, curious about the fit up to the muffler. I'm experiencing a little bit of leak by on the tail piece to the level 1 muffler. With the Tail Gunner, does the exhaust come out of all the holes or just the center. And yes, they are cool.

I put the trunk rack on last nite. Those holes.....geez. Not the most precise markings, and they have to be drilled at an ANGLE! I got it on with no ill effects, but it was nervewracking, considering I didn't wanna mess up the paint by all the moving around, and re-checking everything. Now I am hoping to get the rest of my chrome...I know tomorrow some is supposed to come in, and I suspect it will be the large "V" in front, only a three pound box...the forward inner panels were 6 Lbs.-----Metalguy

I have my chrome grill. I picked it up last weekend. I'm hoping that the rear tips at the bottom of the bag come in soon.
