For any of you with the dent (earlier delivered bikes). My dealer has submitted under warranty and been approved for a new saddlebag. I don't know when it will be here. Anyone else here had one replaced and on the bike?

I must not have a dent. Looked it over at the dealer. Congrats on the free saddlebags. Have you been looking thru the Thunder Mountain Press? Let me know if anything catches your eye....besides sheep

I guess I'll have to wait until the end of next month to check mine, it's still in the crate and that sucks.

I have the dent... (actually in both - worse on the right side)
I'll need to check in with my dealer soon...
They have been great so far.
I'll let you know how things work out.

Skunkeye, you do know you can adjust the shift and brake levers fore and aft for your feet don't you.

Buckeye, on the shift and brake levers, there is an adjustment on them, pretty easy to complete. They come from the factory set at the middle setting, so with a 5mm allen head you can take the bolt out of the slide and slide the levers ahead about an inch or so. The gear shift needs to have the shift rod adjusted. It takes 30 minutes to do both, might help you out.

On the saddle bag sent, my bike was made on 11/19/2007 and it did not have the dents. I've seen other bikes made after that date and they do not have the dents. Really glad you guys can get the early ones fixed.

I saw the bike that someone passed on and which I'm buying this week at the dealer's a couple of weeks ago. The way the light was hitting it I saw the dent in the right saddlebag right away. When I spoke to the dealer last week I called his attention to it; knowing from here that not all of them had the dent. He said that he would replace the saddlebag lid with an undented one, on his own if Vitory wouldn't correct the defect. Nice to know that Victory is doing the right thing though.

It wasn't until recently that Victory acknowledged it under a warranty item. I had asked since my bike was delivered (9/23/07) and was told several times it wasn't yet. Just last week was I informed it was. Kinda screwy, it took so long since I know the first 9 Visions in AZ all had the dent, and others after that. Not a big deal, but I do see it, especially in the light.

Now I was going to keep mine, with the dent(s). I thought it would be like a Brotherhood.
Now y'all are going and changing on me? Whatever.

Ok, my first stupid question as the first female logged on. How do we know when our bikes were manufactured? Also, on a related topic... is there a way to tell, like by the VIN, what number in production your ViVi is? (I apologize for the dangling participle....)

My right saddlebag has the "dents" (mfg mold problem) but I think I'm going to keep it just to prove that it was a bike mfg'd from the "first batch" of Visions.

I know about the forward/backward adjustment of the brake & shifter but I need an upward adjustment to get the toe of my size 15 boot under the shifter. I'm really considering a KingPin heel/toe shifter. I understand it can be done with some mods to the linkage from the KP.

Don't know for sure, but I have a theory, this is my VIN - 5VPSB36D983000699. Now I believe the last 5 or 6 numbers might be the sequence of numbering the bikes as they roll off production. Need more people to post their VIN and maybe we can decipher what it is. I think my title shows the 5VPSB36D as the model number, I have to go back and check. I have a Vision Street Black Premium.

"first batch" Neat idea, it doesn't really detract from the look. Haven't made up my mind yet, whether I am keeping the bag lids or not. Maybe the "brotherhood" will help out.

Ahem! What the *#@#$ is a ViVi is that a new Scooter?

The brake and shift pedals adjust upward, too, I have read. Don't know how- haven't looked!

I'm especially proud of the "36D" part of my Vin. Yeah that ViVi thing is a creative contraction: pretty good, but it's a girl thing. I'll have to think of something else to call mine.

Pound head against desk, I know that, sometimes I wonder about some of you guys (now gals). I just couldn't see myself going around telling the boys to, "Hey, ya'll come look at my ViVi!" I would have to be far more in touch with my feminine side than I already am. Still trying to lose that Touch. Why couldn't they give it a little more manly name, like Victory Bear, Victory Testosterone or Victory Ace, or BUKNAKD's version, Victory BUCKNAKED. See, now I could see me saying, "Hey, yall come look at my BUCKNAKED!". Now, that is just good stuff.

My vin# 5VPSD36D883003359. While looking this up on the right side of the frame, I also noticed 2 dates on the frame. 1 is made in the frame mold: 5631761 rev 08 070702. The other is stamped on the frame & I think that it is the date of assembly: 2007 08 11 Anyone who has more info, please post it. Thanks, Luke

Shift lever has a jam nut at both ends of the relay rod, just loosen both and turn the rod. Moves the shift lever up or down. One end is left handed thread. Dont forget to tighten the jam nuts.

Both my bags have the dents. Dealer keeps trying to tell me they all have it. After seeing some of the posts here, I keep bugging him to talk to Victory about replacements. Otherwise they fit perfectly and open and close great.

I keep thinking about the $22k+ I spent and feel Victory should step up to the plate.
