Alright we talked a little about this before, and now let's see who is serious. What I need is at least 4 Visions that can be in Prescot Az for one weekend in the end of April. Cost $1145 to install
Cams
Intake Plate
VFC3
Labor

This is a complete deal drive up, and drive away. No other costs, and no surprises. The only person that has done more Vision set ups is Lloyd. I will fly out, and get the job done then return home. If this works out then I will look into maybe doing a trip to the NW, or NC areas

Don't worry I have not forgot about you*LOL* Tere was a bunch of interest in the SC area of the country earlier, and I was just trying to work something out. Looks Like the NW is more interested at the moment though

KevinX,

Are you willing to do 50-state bikes (we already have the VFC3 and intake plates)?

Also, will you be doing the dyno tunes?

Thanks,

Tim

P.S.

Try not to schedule it during the Laughlin, NV River Run (April 22nd - 26th) !!!

A couple of questions:

1. I've got the Bigshot installed along with the custom map. Will I need to get a new map if I do the cam?

2. I spoke with the local dealer and they said they'd need to remove the engine to change the cam. Is that true?

My only other question I can answer myself. How long will it take to ride there from Vegas!!

Tim...
I'll be in Az, and I will do any bike as if that is where it was from

Biff..
You adjust a Bigshot, and it is not truly mapped. The problem with that unit is that it will not provide enough fuel at the top of the sale for the cams, and plate. The VFC3 had to be reprogrammed to compensate when the cams were released

The motor stays right where it is in the chassis

That's it! Im filing a grievance with my union.. This is completely Unfair to have a west coast Cam party. Us North East Vision riders have the same Rights to a Cam Party as the West Coasters do! Unfair!!! Unfair!! Unfair Cam Party practices!!

Hmmmm.. I might have to start hoarding some money just in case y'all decide to have a MidWest Cam Party. The price is extremely tempting.

I will see if I can dig up a before run. Also bear in mind this is for 08 bikes. The 09's can be done, but they will require a new set of cam carriers that run around $600

Here is a stock Vision, and a S1L1 with intake plate, and VFC3

I am currently looking for a vision and will want this upgrade once I get one. My question is do you prefer the 08 or 09 design. I know the 09's needs the cam carriers but which design is better for the upgrade not accounting for the extra cost? Thanks

No need for a Cam Party in the NE, we have Lloyd. When you visit him, post it so we can all go raise hell in Pine Bush. I can see the news now, "Pine Bush, NY was attacked this morning by motorcycles that look like spaceships. Locals were afraid at first but calmed down once they realized they were Victorys." )

Pretty much the same way I saw it. The NE is covered.

As to 08-09 I don't have any feeling either way. The 08 is easier, but the 09 has some attractive upgrades

Varyder, If you don't mind a air mattress and sleeping bag, come on down. And as far as that goes, KevinX can come to the house and do them all there. I have 12 acres to pitch a tent on.  ET

PS: Thinking about it, the Southeast Victory rally would be a good place to meet in June. I'm sure we could talk Jeff Whaley into using his trailer to set up shop.

When I go to events I am Kevin Cross, and not Kecinx. I like to play like everyone else.

That being said I will travel to about anywhere in the country if you can get 5 Visions together, and a place to work out of. Just need space. No air tools required.

Kevin,

Have you decided on the exact days yet? My decision may be based on scheduling...

2 days for me to ride out, 2 days back, 1600 miles total.
