I just got back from local Victory Dealer because they gave me the wrong trunk mat for my vision so they ordered me the right one.. We (parts guy and I) got to talking and I found out they have the black Console Bezels now. (like on the 10th and Ness bikes) So of course i had to order that so I could get rid of that pewter/Aluminum look that all of them have stock out of the factory. Cant wait to get that. I seen the new lowers and I'm on the fence with those right now. For $249.00 for them???? They took them out of the package and put it up to a new vision and they looked ok but just not sure, I heard they work really well to push that heat away from the motor and your legs or help keep it there for cold riding. My dealer even gave thier Arlen Ness parts/Accessories Catalog to me too keep so i could look through it and see what else i want. I see that they have black grab rails ($199.00 Each)which caught my attention and then I seen some Sick "Ness Grab Rail Eliminator kit" Which covers up the saddle bag but takes away the grab rails all together. They look awesome in the catalog. My dealer said they would order them so i can see them with no obligation to buy them if i didnt like them. Now thats customer service. I also looked at some of there custom led lighting so of course i have to order the kit 1 for my Vision too. Cant wait to get that and install it. I will make sure and post pics of my projects as they happen.

I dont have the part number since i dont have the catalog but if I remember right it was like $49.95 or less for the trunk key chrome piece. Any V-dealer can give that info to ya.

I also ordered and have the rear view chrome rings but I didnt install them becasue they looked kinda cheap and the way they are to be installed by useing opoxy glue and having to tape them down till they dry made me think twice about the install. What are your thoughts. Any issues with the install roadrunner? Can you take close up pics of them installed?? would you do it again?

I think they're ok. Its just trim so it doesn't need to have any strength. As for as plastic chrome, after years of chroming big trucks, plastic chrome has always been my choice where I couldn't get stainless steel.

The install is easy. Put some gooky glug on the trim and held it on the mirror for about a minute (no tape). It stayed no problem (I do have spot mirrors on my bike which more then likely helped keep it in place). Road bike 12 hours later. That stuff actually dries in a couple hours unless you make it to thick.

I like the look. Of course I am a chrome junky.

That is SWEET! Makes mine look plain...so far. By the way, what did you use for the key trim bezel? I have an idea, just want to know if I'm right I like the LED's above the mirrors too. Nice touch.

Key trim is chrome piece that goes around a truck light. It has flanges on the bottom that fit the ring around the keyhole just right. (Just a piece I had in my shop from some other idea)

The LED light is hooked to my signal lights. The suckers are bright and riders behind me say they are really noticeable (which is what I wanted). It's also e.z. seen from the sides, so that can be helpful when riding in city traffic.

I, like many on this board, just keep adding things as we get time and ideas. Still waiting on my backordered chrome tip over protectors.

This winter I have plans on having what's not chromed yet chromed. Plus, have a little airbrush work done.

What I have done wasn't hard. I find chrome that fits a Vision and I buy it. (Just damn hard to find people who will sell me stuff with that simple need.)

They are the the ones from Victory.
Makes sure you have small fingers when you install them, they're a bogger to get the last screw in.

If you really want one. I can look for one at my local truck chrome shop and get you the brand name and part number.
Oh yeah and the price.

"Lowers"?

One thing that's great about this board is you can see what many riders have done and are doing to their bikes.
Some like the black thing (which does look very cool to me), and others are into chrome.

Then there's the lights and other gizmoes.

Then there's the guys who just ride and ride. Personally, I wish I could be more like them .... just ride!

IRR - I have a need for customization but have a bank guard telling me I can't have any money for accessories or customization, and since it don't make it go any faster, no need for it. So, I have to be sly which takes a lot LONGGGGGERRRR! So I try to ride as much as possible to stave off the need to buy other "purty" things.
