Atlanta Area | I wasn't really liking all the ways I have seen people mount a drink holder. I found out that Kruzer Kaddy has recently redesigned the clamp portion of their popular cup holder. Basically they made the clamping diameter huge and then included inserts to size it down to whatever size bar you have. Well, it's so big that it fits nicely around the Vision oval handlebar. I lined the inside of the clamp with some electrical tape to prevent the chrome from scratching and used a few 1/4 inch inside diameter grommets to dress up the gap left by the oval shaped bar. I put a small piece of foam (included in the kit) between the holder and the clutch perch to prevent scratching or rubbing. I think it turned out pretty well and I didn't have to drill a hole in the dash or use the Ram mount with a u-bolt which I don't care for the look of. Anyway, here's some pics. Lemme know what you think...

Atlanta Area | Just about any scooter shop carries the Kruzer Kaddy. It's probably the most popular cup holder for the Harley crowd. You just have to make sure it has the new clamp. The old clamp is small and doesn't come with the inserts for the smaller bars.
I found mine at the local Harley dealer... $39.95

San Antonio, TX | I saw that one as well in the 2009 catalog but the one pictured above look a lot better then the Victory unit. By the time you but all of the parts for the Victory unit it will be over $70. |

I should probably add what and how it's mounted. Standard ram mount bolted to the bottom left flap of the left fuel cell & a cup holder I had from my other tours which mounted to the bar. You could use almost any cup holder with the ram to mount in this location.
There are two factory mount points on the left lower cell but I only used one and it was more than enough to make it secure. If not carrying anything and if you want the mount can be tucked in so it sits forward of the front cylinder out of sight.

| Adam, Did you try putting it on the inside of the handlebars ? Also, is the mount big enough to put it on the back grab rails for the passenger ? Thanks, Tim P.S. I already used part of the handlebars for driving glass cases. I would need to mount it inside the handle bars.

Reno County, KS | That's a really nice cup holder! I no longer mount mine to the handlebars because of all the accidents I can't seem to avoid with fountain drinks. (Yeah, I know it would be easier to quit them but they're like crack). I went with the Ram Mount under the dash on both side like Gagirltrixie. I was very surprised how solid the underside of the dash was. |

It should work equally as well flipped around to the inside. I was just trying to hide the cup holder as much as possible. I did not try the passenger grab rail, but it just might work. The easiest thing to do is go to your local Harley dealer and pick one up to play with (make sure it's the new style clamp). If it doesn't work, take it back... |

| Not sure if anyone saw it in the 2009 catalog, but RAM has a ball that screws in to the throttle housing now so you can use a ram mount. |

| I just received my kruzer kaddy today. I bought it on Ebay last week. $36.00 No tax and free shipping! Woot! It's the new chrome model that will fit 1.25" bars. The mount is very well made and quite hefty. Thanks to an earlier post I was prepared with four flat 1/2" rubber washers from my local hardware store's plumbing dept. to take up the space between the clamp halves. The washers also had a slightly smaller inside diameter than the screws and held the screws in place. This made installation much easier for one person. This was my first accesory on my 2008 Midnight Cherry Tour Premimum. This is also my first post. Thanks to everyone here. I love this site.

Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Mounted mine like 1atom12. Screws were .5 mm short to get threads started on second bolt (maybe my "bar" is a little thick  ). Took just a little bit of steel out of the top bracket with a grinder and she fits fine. Nice addition to the bike. Now my wife wants one on the back. |
