What the crap? I thought this place was a discussion forum for Victory enthusiasts. Lately it seems that this has been flooded with plugs for youtube videos of someone's life/last greatest ride. This person will remain nameless but the initials are Kevin O'Donnell. I'm sure I'm sounding like a whining bitch to those of you who may appreciate these vids, but its getting really annoying to me when about half the Latest Forum Topics are taken by this. And by the way, Kevin, I asked you a question about one of your plugs on another Victory page to which you never responded. I think you were encouraging people to buy magazines there or something. You really should monitor where your plugs are since it reflects poorly not to do so.

Bottom line, I know what it looks like to ride. I'm sure there are some people who will disagree with me, but I would prefer this forum to be about riding and upgrading or maintaining Victorys. Not a place to plug your YouTube channel. Witchdoctors and Lloydz supports the site and riders so I expect to see their stuff and enjoy seeing the latest mods from them. I couldn't care less about the other though.

Hey kwitchurbitchin. I am sure that person has all of the best intentions. Although I am not very enthusiastic about rides in Utah, based on my own experiences there, they are doing the best that they can. What is noteworthy in one part of the country is just ho-hum in other parts.

I am the proud new owner of a 2013 VV. I am learning a lot from the folks that are giving advise, talking about victory topics, new mods, how to's etc..maybe those that are interested in posting video links can ask the admin of this site to setup a section to post home movies. Btw I have taken a look at a couple of the videos to see if there shots of victorys in action...sadly they are videos of landscape...don't take me wrong but as a professional photographer my preference for landscapes are still pictures. That is of course unless I am looking to capture Mother Nature in action.

I might have stated it a bit more succinctly but the videos are getting to be a bit much. I believe the person you mention was asked not to post anymore in a private facebook page.

What difference does it make. One can choose to watch it, or one choose to not watch it. It not like on you tube you have endure the commercials to watch what you want. For this (me) tech-less guy I am in awe of his ability edit and add music to these photo/videos. I am in awe. However if it not an area of interest I do not like it. But to come on here and be a BULLY! Fuck off!!! This site was developed and maintained for everyone! It has been a long winter, and up here I have maybe another 2-3 weeks before I get out riding! Then I for won will not be here nearly as often!

Just Sayi!!!

I think a link for special rides/scenery, etc.etc. is a good idea, but as said above, if you don't want to view them, don't...No big deal...BTW I am from Utah and have seen most of the state anyway.....

Cliff, what I wrote I think was well reasoned and I did say that there are those who will disagree with me. It was far from bullying. Unlike your response. If someone wants to start a YouTube channel and get a few followers, that's fine. But when I logged on at that particular time, there were something like 6 posts out of 8 on the top left that were plugs for his videos. Yes, he has skills and can edit video. I'm not knocking the guy for that, I just think that at that point it was rather excessive. He may or may not make any money from YouTube, it doesn't figure in the equation. I do know he has plugged for other things as well like magazine subscriptions and when I questioned him about it he did not bother to respond. But if a vendor has 6 of 8 posts and a very low number of people viewing them, then most people would probably be wondering why that vendor continues to post and eventually bitch about it. I think that by viewing the count it shows that like myself, others have chosen not to view his videos or to encourage him in any way. yet he still keeps posting one after another. My bullshit-o-meter reached it maximum capacity and i responded. Thank you for taking the time to point out how wrong I am and label me as a bully. You, sir, are free to fuck off as well!

I just don't click on the posts that don't interest me.
I too, logged on and saw that there were something like 5-6 new posts all from the person you are talking about, big deal. I just didn't click on them, the problem is..there isn't any other new posts to choose from! I would add some posts of my own but I don't have anything to say that hasn't been said before.
Is this a dying forum?

Nope... this is NOT a "dying forum" ...when you have a bike as perfect as the Vision... there's not much to post about.

What kind of oil do I need to use in my Vision to watch these video's that you're complaining about?

Damn right, Max. Only Amsoil 10w-40 on your popcorn tonight! And not the cheap automobile oil either. I know how you are, lol!

LOL, Baadawg. Ok, got it. But where can I get those "Shameless" plugs. I was just going to replace my OEM plugs with Champion, or NGK. But if those "Shameless" plugs are really better I'll give them a try. Can I get them on Amazon?

Hello, I am the poster of all the Shameless Plugs. Sorry I posted so many videos to let other people see my rides in the beautiful state of Utah. I love riding my Vision and sharing my adventures with other people. Now that you have mentioned it, I can see what you are talking about, I do post a lot of videos at one time, so this is something I won't do again. From now on I will post only 1 or 2 videos per page so as to not piss off the viewers of this great site. My Youtube site was created for my riding adventures and family activities, I am not trying to promote or make any money from my site, it is just the place I store all my videos.

btw - Kevin ... you should have said NO to YouTube offers of 'money for your videos' - keeps the commercials out of your work. IMHO

I get those annoying commercials because I use copyrighted music on my videos Guess it's Youtube's way of punishing me.

I guess if our bikes leaked oil, had faulty final drives, or steering shimmying at 60 mph, the posts would be all about fixing or complaining. This is a very interesting forum because we all have a quality motorcycle with a bullet proof engine. We are forced to talk about riding rather than fixing. I think this forum is one of the best marketing tools for Victory for that very reason.

Post videos if you want. It's better than posting a video of a much needed suspension upgrade!

I named no motorcycle competitors in this post. You can all guess.

I am not going to guess. I ride an HD and had a "tank thumping" shimmy in the front end at less than 5000 miles. The dealer performed repair under the 2 year warranty and it is back to working as it should. In my opinion, every bike should always work as it should and should not require warranty repairs to achieve that level of performance. If all goes well, I will be a Vic owner by next week.

I agree, can we get a videos section? I think that's a great idea and one used on many, many forums. Usually a vid's/pics thread where you can go post crazy with all that stuff. Keeps it out of the mainstream topics and is nice place dedicated to showing off your bike/rides.

Can we get a vote?
