Fort Defiance, VA United States | Yea, I know, this has been discussed a ton of times with a whole bunch of different rumors. This however, is a bit different.
This past weekend I met and spoke with Mike Song from Victory at the IMS in New York. I asked him directly about the future of the vision. He was adamant that they are not going to eliminate the Vision from the lineup and said it will see design changes. He didn't elaborate on the changes and I didn't press him because I knew that he couldn't tell me anyway. Anyhow, this is good enough for me to lay this topic to rest once and for all all.

Prairie City, IA United States | When you start with damn near a perfect motorcycle where can you get better? Sure larger saddlebags would be nice but not at the expense of handling or looks. I can pull a trailer if I need more space. Mirrors. I fixed that with a set of aftermarket mirrors on the handlebars. I have already decided if Victory quits making the Vision that I will buy one and leave it in the crate until I wear mine out
Take a look at a 2012 Goldwing compared to a 2010 and there isn't much difference in the bikes except for that ugly ass rear end they put on them now. |

When he made the original mock up; they were huge. Then the engineers came in and took out all the room. He has never been happy with the volume |

| +2 Kevin. There is an article where Mr. Song is interviewed about how the production Vision compares to the designed Vision. If I remember correctly, the production is %95 of the designed version, except for the bags. I think there was an issue with not being able to mold the large inner cavity as it was designed, or not having a supplier that could do it. I wonder if it came down to cost - meaning is was going to be expensive, at the time, to develop the inner saddle bag liner. |

Peru, IN | There's a pic (somewhere, here or another board) of a Vision with the XCT bags/trunk. REALLY sharp bike and seems like the best of both worlds. I might have bought a XCT if the air management had been better and/or I needed to carry more crap. I'm kinda hoping Witchdoctor does this some day (not that I could afford the mod). |

Phenix City AL. | Everyone seems to have an issue with the bags, here is my take, they are just the right size, I went from a TC to the vision and I carry most of the same stuff and have no issues for day to day use, I have rain gear, jacket, tools, water, gloves, and other stuff I dont need lol, to include having an AMP installed in one of the bags. If I go on a weekend ride I put a bag on the back seat, put the trunk on , install my hitch rack (comes right off when I get to my destination), hook up my camper trailer ( the vision still moves out on the blue ridge with a loaded trailer)I am waiting on my new toy to get back from paint ( luggage rack with speaker pods and a removable back rest, with the CB modual mounted in the stock location) my piont is I think the bags are just right, and you take a lot of stuff with you when you really need too. I hope they dont change a thing. |

Sand Rock, AL United States | The side bags are inadequate. Waiting on the upgrade but I'll wear my 08 out first. BTW, I don't believe larger side bags would have an affect on handling except that it may even affect center of gravity favorably by being able to put more packed weight down low in a redesigned , functional side bag instead of being forced to put everything in the very functional, very high trunk because I can't get it in the current design side bag. |

Iowa | I ride solo and have never had issues with space. If riding 2 up I could see a need for more space, but I think I would need more than bigger bags so I would add a trailer. For me... I love it just how it is.
But I would look at a new upgraded version with a 112 in it. |

| We do a lot of big trips on the Vision 2-up. We have learned to pack conservatively and plan on doing laundry in the hotel during a trip. It works for us.
That being said, I have saddle bag envy of Cross bike owners... |

| Hmm the bags on my '13 seem to hold everything I need. The only way I would like to see them redesigned so the entry for them was either on top so you could feed from the top like a traditional saddle bag (keep the same design though) or from the front or rear then you could feed everything in like a duffle bag (this would also allow the liners to be placed in loaded and just slide in). |

Georgia, west of Atlanta | First let me say I really enjoy my Vision, it's an 08 and I have all the Lloyd stuff done. It makes 115.5 RWHP and it hauls ass and is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned ( I've had 12 ) and still have a RoadGlide too. That being said: the saddle bags are the only thing I have any dislike about. Bigger ones that would load from the top or bigger entry hole and not change the overall lines would be nice. The ole girl already has a set of hips, 2 inches wider on each side wouldn't make much difference in the looks........

I use the Victory saddlebag liners to help with packing for trips and the size of the top trunk saves my bacon since I can fit a full size duffle bag in there. It is however a bit tight for 2 up travel. I'll be adding the touring rack to the trunk here shortly and i have a Kury bag from my GoldWing that I can put on it, that will help for 2 up travel.
The other part I didn't hear mention was the lack of passenger room. While 90% of my riding is solo when I take a passenger I find it annoying to have to remove the driver backrest to make enough room for the passenger. Now the bike is still comfy with the backrest out but I really like it in. My GoldWing had gobs of room for the passenger and tons of storage, probably the only 2 things I miss about it. The Vision is soooo much better on every other level! |

Westchester Co., NY | I also came from a TC to the VV. But I cannot fit nearly the amount of stuff in my saddlebags now as what I did in my TC. I have more then enough room if I am travelling solo. But my wife and I have different ideas of packing light. For two of us going away for a week it is tough. So for one week a year I need bigger saddlebags. The other 51 weeks the saddlebags are fine, but I wouldn't mind if I gained a little more room so long as the lines of the bike aren't ruined. |

Kansas City, MO | Adding a Kury roll-bag and the luggage rack was just right for me and the Mrs. on our week long ride last April. Heh.. she's not the lightest packer; so that meant 1 side bag and the Kury for her stuff, I got 1 side bag for me, and we shared the trunk.
But it was great. Wouldn't really want to take anymore than we did on a trip.
Oh and solo is never a problem luggage-wise, of course.
So overall, my opinion is adequate storage solo, and just barely adequate 2-up (add a roll-bag and your fine). |

Yes it does, especially the little adjuster nut that changes the angle of the backrest, that falls in a very, very precarious position for the passenger lol... |
