So I have had my Vision since March 11', have just under 11,000 miles on it and I never run into other Visions when I am out riding. This weekend I rode over to Hudson Fl on the west coast and run into three of them, all on Sunday. One was black riding two up and headed south on Rt 19 near north Tampa. The next was a female rider on a light blue Vision with no trunk riding near Tarpon Springs and the last one was a silver Vision(same as mine) parked alongside of Emily's restaurant in Homosassa, Fl. If any of these 3 were you, I'd really like to know who you are and maybe put together a ride.

Also, the reason I went to Hudson was to take Jerry "Motorman" Pallidino's "Ride like a Pro' course which is great!
Jerry and his wife Donna and thier team really do a fantastic job of instruction and confidence building in handling a bike like the Vision. Jerry jumped on mine and had it laid over and was dragging the floorboards through the course just like he rides a Vision every day of his life. The course is well worth the time and the price if any of you ever have the opportunity to take it.

Fred, AKA Turbobuick is in Tampa with a decked out SSG Tour Premium. I'm just south of Tampa and have a Black TP with Ness wheels. I did a ride Sunday and saw no other Visions, but did see two Cross Country Tours.
I rode 4300 miles last month and most reactions to my bike were the same as 3+ years ago when I first got one.

I live in Orlando. I've seen a couple of Visions on the East Coast, and once here in Central Florida. I agree, we should do a "meet-up"

Its funny you say you never see any other vision. I live in minnesota and can say the same thing. But every now and then if your in the right place at the right time you'll see two dozen of them and then there gone.
I think the reason being is there such great road bikes every one is on a trip going some place. Riding in your own back roads is just not good enough you have to spread your wings and go father out to find them.

Sunday Morning, November 13, 2011, 10 am, Cracker Barrel Restaurant 285 Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714-3333 This location is just off I-4 on the north side of Orlando. If you can make this post a +1 here. We can all eat, meet and greet. And ride afterwards if desired.

I picked a place that was easy to get to and convenient for me. No offense, but I have been down this road before. Seems someone says we should all meet, a few others jump in (YEA!) and no one does anything. So I posted a time and place, requesting a +1 from those that would attend. So far no one has responded except you asking if there is anything a little south of Orlando. Well I am sure there are lots of places south of Orlando, East of Orlando, West of Orlando, etc. If you or someone else wants to suggest a different time and place, I'm open to the possibilities. So far no one else has been willing to suggest and commit to an alternative time and place.

Sorry, I have had a lot going on. Meeting on the 13th will be tough for me. I don't get off work till 0800 in Sarasota and took the cage today.

Fred, that sounds great. I worked all the kinks out of the replacent Vision I got in Feb. Put over 16,000 on it so far.

Ahh, 'memories'... Of Florida before 9/11 when I was fired from my job for being 'Canadian', and I had to leave all those straight boring roads to come back to British Columbia mountain riding.
THANK YOU! - to the prick who fired me... I'd probably still be there riding those hot, gator-ridden, wet, hot, roads with nothing to see but scrub.
You sad, sad Florida Visionarys - I feel for ya.
GO NORTH! THEN WEST! ANYWHERE ......
And maybe you will see ..... other things, like hills and dales,,, rivers and rapids,,, tumbleweed and pine trees,,, and other Visionaries

Don, on the bright side I ride every day year round AND I have my passport, so last year I went to the Dragon, this year I did 4300 miles to Pittsburg, NY, and Cape Cod returning on the BRP, and next July our national rally in in Winchester, KY. I look at the glass as 3/4 full!
