I see the peg on the shifter will come off, how about on the foot brake. I would like to upgrade to longer, better looking break peg. Looking at the Ness or the Kury set up.

The brake peg should come off like the shifter. I bought these from a after market store. They were for a harley. I threw the bolt away and replaced it with a mm bolt from the hardware store. I had to tale a little metal off the allen head so it would fit in.

Yes, they both come off. I switched both of mine over to Ness pegs, Ness also sells an adapter so they will fit the metric thread in our levers.

thanks, I discovered that yesterday and did the same thing, ordered the pegs and adapters from Ness. I really had to crank hard on the brake peg to get it lose. Looking forward to putting the ness pegs on. They told me they are 3 inches in length compared to 2 1/4 of the stocks. Is that correct? I want a larger peg for the brake.

Verified. The Ness brake and shifter pegs are 3" long.

I went with the Diamond Flat Band & they really "pop" once you get them on, not to mention they are much easier to find! I always seemed like I was hunting for the brake pedal, not any more....be sure to use some thread-locker when you go to assemble them.

Nozzledog, thanks, you have a couple of items I'm looking at putting on. Are the heel blades the after market ones? I am looking at both those and the vic footrest pegs. I'm 6'3" so I need to stretch out, will the heel blades be comfortable for me, I know this is a tuff question unless you are around my height. Also can you slide them in and out from under the floor board while riding? What Kruzer Kaddy do you have? is it the bar mounted unit or the new mount that is by the clutch unit. thanks again for the info.

I'm 6'4" and the Heel Blades give me a good stretch. They can slide in and out while moving, it's just a matter of how tight you set the friction screw. I like how they dissappear when not in use, keeps the bikes lines smooth. My right thigh gets a little hot from the rear cylinder when I use them though, but I do have the Ness saddle which sits lower. I'm trying to come up with a leather shield that will mount under the saddle and cover that part of the cylinder. I also have black tipovers that i put grip-tape on so I can prop my feet up there without them slipping off.
You may want to look at these two options as well;

I may end up with one of these before I try the 48+-10 IBA ride.

I did not like where the Kruzer Kaddy clutch mount positioned the cup. I just bought longer screws for the regular Kaddy and mounted it behind the bars. Works perfect there and never gets in the way.

I have Tri-City's V-pegs and they're awesome, although I'm not as tall as you. They let you hook your heels to stretch out, or use them as a wider board extension to be able to move your feet a lot more than with just the floorboards.
