Sorry if this subject was discussed before but I didn't find anything.

I am thinking of getting a TomTom Rider GPS. I already have a Victory CB and headsets. I would like to integrate the GPS with the other stuff so that I am only using one headset. I assume that there is a hookup as there is, or once was, a Victory GPS made by Garmin. Are the connections standard so that a TomTom would hook up? Thanks

If you are trying to link up using a bluetooth, just link it directly.

I am pretty technologically illiterate but I figured everything would plug directly into each other. Therefore there would be no need for Bluetooth. Is Bluetooth required?

There is an AUX/GPS connection hanging down in the tank well on the right side of the dash bridge. It is designed for the Victory accessory cable for the Garmin 660. You can tap into these to use your TomTom, but there is no cable already made for it. I am not sure about newer models, but 2010 and older, it only has a mono connection. I did not buy the Victory cable for my 660 because I wanted to use the MP3 feature and have stereo, so I used the cable that came with it and plugged it into the AUX jack in the glove compartment. No, It does not cut in/out for GPS directions if I am listening to the radio, but it does when I listen to MP3s.

Thanks, I tried playing around with the link.

Now I can set about getting the parts on order, the Victory harness here in the uk is about $270!!

Compared to about $75 for the garmin harness and $8 for the connector.

Just got a "2011 plate" vision tour which was built in 2010 seems to take awhile to get over the pond. Not been on the road 3 years yet and just over 1000 miles on the clock.

Again thanks, there seems to be little information about when it comes to connectors etc.
