Just got home to Carrollton Ga. from Charlotte NC, round trip was around 800 miles. I did some riding around with friends up in CLT. The Vision is more comfortable than my RoadGlide. The stereo is nicer and I have four Hog Tunes speakers on the RG !! Criuise control works well. Overall very impressed. As mentioned before only downside is the storage capacity, not quite up to HD capacity when you have been using a King TourPak.
Went to a local bike night, about 100 motorcycles, mostly HD people. everyone who saw it liked the vision and were asking questions, including three Outlaws, surprising they liked it too.......

Steve, buy the tour pack storage bag. I came off a RG when I bought my Vision and the bike before that one was also a RG, both had King TP's and I had EXACTLY the same complaint. A good 1/3 of the Visions trunk space is actually in the lid which makes it less than user friendly, BUT adding the bag allows you to fully utilize all the trunk space. Still not as user friendly as a King TP but it will at least hold as much with the bag. Hope this helps. Oh and you might find a good buy on the bag shopping ebay... T
Get use to folks admiring the Vision everywhere you stop. They may find it cool or they may find it butt ugly but either way they'll stop to look and ask.

Thanks Teach. I also thinking of one of the custom luggage racks available on site and a medium size hard side kuryakyn bag for really long or extended trips. You're right about the people, almost every gas stop folks coming up and asking questions. Most said "that's the first one I've seen and I've been waiting to see it".........

Steve, I decided to go with a trailer rather than add any more "top" weight by adding a luggage rack and bag. Of course there are dozens of folks here who have done the luggage rack/bag thing without issue. If you ride solo most of the time Victory sells a seat bag that some members have purchased as well. Looks like a nice option.

Saddleman sell's the same bag as Victory for around $110-120 They hold around 4100 cubic inches and fit into the contour of the back seat and strap to the rear grab handles.I bought from

XRsteve, hope It was the Quaker Steak & Lube that you were talking about stopping at for bike nite. Easy Eddie's also has one same nite and not far down the road. I have been to six cities in four states in the last month. Plenty of room for both work & play clothes. ET

No, but I have heard of the Quaker Steak & Lube night, isn't it out near the speedway Harley shop? This was at Tumbleweeds down near Monroe. I'll be back up to Charlotte soon and I'll check it out. Next week I'm gonna go to a local Victory night up near Kennesaw Ga. hope to see some Visions with different exhausts so I can hear them in person.....

On a side note the next day I took my RoadGlide for a ride. Damn after 800 miles on the Vision in the last three days the RG sure seems small..................
