I talked with my Dealer today. The Victory stage 1 pipes Level 2 are a 5 hp increase.I wonder if I willl get good results when Kevinx installs my cam package..if I use the stock pipes.Almost $1000 for at set of slip on pipes and 5hp is way too much for me.Maybe cams arent a good choice with a stock exhaust.

Don't get caught up on peak numbers. I have done several bikes with stock pipes, and the low-mid is GREATLY improved. Along with a solid pull to redline instead of giving up at 4200. I'm guessing HP still goes from 80 to roughly 100-105 if peaks are what turn you on. BTW the basic S1 kit is only good for about 3HP without other adders

Additional question for Kevin,

Is there an exhaust that you would recommend over all others? How about #1 & 2 choices? Consider if you will, sound/HP benefit/decel pop propencity, visual appearance. Tally the results in your head and pick a winner and runner up. Put yourself in our shoes and pretent your getting a cam install and which pipe combo would I (you) choose?

best overall numbers come with S1L1 pipes with gatling tips. I feel best overall look and sound as well. Atom Bombs sound great as do s1L2
pipes but best overall performance is with cams,vfc3,intake plate s1l1 with tips...

This was explained to me by Lloyd a while ago.
S1L1's will give you on average two more HP over the S1L2's and my Big Honkers.
The sound of the Honkers is worth the 2 HP in my opinion.
I have never seen numbers on RPW's 2 into 1's or the Atom Bombs.
Interestd in the RPW numbers, their True Duals seem to give me more HP than the Stage One pipes I took off the Kingpin.

RPW pipes(2 into 1) give similar #s. BUT they are 30 lbs lighter than stock and are tunable by packing and unpacking baffles
and they are beautifully made I have my eye on the black ceramachromes. They look awesome, I havent heard them though.
