Anyone using The Barnett pressure plate kit ?? If so what are your thoughts on this ?? I'm interested because with a stronger springs and different fiber plates, I believe you could use AmsOil with none of the fore mentioned clutch slipping issues..................

Shouldn't you also run a car tire to offset the increased friction?

I understand you need to get the Lloydz cover also if I remember reading that right.

Then you need the 'big bore' kit to turn the car tire.

I used to be a huge fan of Amsoil, but the Barnett spring, pressure plate, fibers, and Lloydz side plate weren't enough to keep my clutch from slipping in my '06 KP with Amsoil. Then again, I was running a 110" motor with nitrous too. No slippage issues with semi-syn oils though. YSMV (your slippage may vary)

I'm sorry I have a stock 08 and the amsoil hasn't given any slippage for more then 10 thousand miles. Yes I street race my vision every time a harley wants a spanking. With the hydraulic clutch adjusting its self with every squeeze of the lever. Yes with a CT on the back and a speed shift into 3rd and the tire brakes loose for a split second and I wave good by to the competition my clutch doesn't slip.
It sounds like you have your clutch issues in front of the problem that might never be. None of us here know how you ride or use your clutch so your kinda asking a unfair question. Do you ride the clutch half way threw the intersection when leaving the light or do you hold the clutch half way in when coming to a stop. There is just to many variables into what your asking.
If there is maybe twenty five thousand victory's on the road and only a thousand with clutch slippage you would have to ask your self how do they use there clutch. Yes even guys with a good hundred horse or more under them are flying down the road with no issues.
By the way if you change your spring you should change the plates cause there contaminated with the wrong oil. Hey its only $400 bucks.
Not that is maters but you don't give us good information like where do you live what year is your bike or how many miles you have on it. Shame on you.

Turk how much power was the 100" on the bottle making ??

It was 110" motor with a 40 shot. Motor was around 123hp and 130lb/ft. On the bottle it was around 155hp 155lb/ft.

Last January, I took the bottle off and rebuilt the motor myself in my garage (documented on another site) with some help and advice from a co-worker who used to build race motors for drag cars. It's still 110" but now makes 133hp and 142lb/ft of torque. It's also a well tuned daily driver that has been from KC to DC and back and from KC to FL and back. It runs every bit as smooth as a new stock bike.

It's sitting at my local dealer where I traded it for my Vision. Whoever gets it will be one lucky SOB!!!!!!!
