I got to experience just how well it works yesterday while on a ride with my SO (Significant Other). Lost balance while doing a SLOW left turn in a gas station parking lot. I rode it down on the seat but my SO lost her balance & hit the pavement on her left side. No scrapes or scratches but she has a small bruise on her left hip today. No evidence of the "drop" can be found on the bike! None whatsoever !!! It's amazing to me that they did such a good job of engineering this feature on our Visions.

Glad to hear you and your SO are ok! The tip over protection is a nice pc of engineering I hope I never use.

The rear tip over protection could be further back to make it more difficult to get you foot stuck under it.  It is a bit far forward.

Glad to hear all came out well. I agree the rear tip over a little far forward. Got my own foot stuck under it one time and I thought I had broke my foot. OOOWWWW! Had to keep going didn't want to look like I had done a BuckNakD.

i think the rear tip overs could possibly be modified to accomodate long legged passengers as foot rest. my son rides as a passenger sometimes, at five eleven leggs are a little cramped, this would also allow floorboards to be longer, a complaint my wife had made about the stock boards
