| I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to an event that takes place in Erie PA each summer. The event is called Roar on the Shore and is a weekend long motorcycle event in downtown Erie. Last year Arlen Ness led a ride from the local dealer to the VA hospital and then spent time at the dealer booth signing stuff for folks, taking pictures and shaking hands.
This year the Victory Demo truck will be here and they hope Arlen will be back. Several good rides to the wineries and along the lake plus lots of bands and entertainment.
Anyhow there are details on the web if you are considering coming, along with the dates for the event in July. If you want to look me up just shout or stop by the demo truck as they'll likely have us (local Victory Chapter) leading and shotgunning the demo rides. |

Goldsboro, NC | Hmmmmm.... Now I have to make a choice.... do I visit my old hometown for the Roar on the Shore or for the Bike Around the Bay?
Teach... I knew that you once said you were from NW PA... but I did not know you were from Erie, itself! Most people who generalize to the corner of the state litterally mean north of I-80, west of Bradford. Two people in NWPA can be 3 hours apart.
Part of the Erie Vic Chapter? I'll look you up next time I'm visiting my folks, see if a chapter meeting is going on that week. Pardon me if I wait until y'all thaw out a bit first. |
