| Happy New Year to All, Has anyone installed the 65 AMP Charging System for the Vision? Does this option actually exist? LaPorte,Tx. | I had one ordered in 2007 prior to my bike showing up. Prior to the arrival of the bike, dealer told me they were not available. I'd be interested if anyone got one last year, but at this time, not sure if it is needed. |

Carrollton, TX | I was told they never produced this option. It was determined that the extra charging capacity was not needed on the Vison and the stock charging was more than enough. |

Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Nice to know. I ordered that option - but was also told it was not available - even though it showed up for months after that as an 'option'. I was thinking my dealer was screwing me around - so now I feel like I need to appologize. But I won't..... |

| Hi Spock, I ordered this option when I first received my Vision @ Thanksgiving of 2007 and my dealer told me the same thing, not available. I now see it re-appearing in the 2009 catalog so it makes me wonder what is really going on. As for the stock 50 amp charging system being sufficient, I would say for stock equipment that is true, but not for aftermarket equipment. With driving lights, heated seats, heated grips and 2 full sets of heated clothing (electric jacket liners, gloves, pants and socks), the stock 50 amp system can not keep up. 2 setts if heated clothing takes its toll.
With 2 full sets of heated clothing running, the extra 15 charging amps would be a welcome.
