Was pondering removing the reflectors off the front tubes. I assume they are attached with double-sided tape...correct? So a little heat and somewhat well placed hit with a 15lb sledgehammer will do the trick

There isn't any type of "pin" or anything else holding them on...is there?

I took mine off as well. No pins, just the tape. It took longer getting the residue off the fork legs than it did removing the reflectors.

I had one fall off already, can't be too tight. I bought a couple reflectors from auto parts store, stuck on fine. Why do you want to take them off?

Nope Nothing holding them on but adhesive.
when I POWDERCOATED front fork legs I left them off.
Might put LEDs on or might just leave it alone.

I want to take them off because I feel they "interupt" the looks of the tubes, or to be a bit more blatant...they look yicky-yucky.

And I think there is a fairly minimal (if any) safety benefit to having them on there.

Heading out to grab the sledgehammer !! Wonder if I can use a torch for the heat source

Blow dryer and a plastic putty knife might be safer...

To remove stickers or reflector you can use dental floss in a sawing motion, no scratches afterward.
