I ordered a lowering link from Arizona Victory yesterday. They only recommend lowering the chassis by one inch. If you go lower you will run into clearance problems.

If you have to go lower, Ness makes a kit for the inside of saddlebags that makes the bottom narrower. Unfortunately you will have to cut the inside out of your stock bags to fiberglass and rivit on the kit. I don't see how that can help your resale value.

They also push up the forks by about an inch. They said that to do the lowering link that they take off the saddlebags so they can get to the bolts.

The gentleman said that the 2010 parts and prices should be the computer system by the 12th or so. Then you could get one of the 8 ball lowered seats or you could order a Ness Vision seat.

Thanks.

so what you're saying is that you got the ness link? Or did you pre-order the 8-Ball link?

Arizona Victory has their machinists cut the stock link down. They send you the shortened one and you send you regular one back to them. The shortened link is $170 with a $160 core charge. When they get your stock link back, they give you credit for the core charge. They were supposed to be getting a link back yesterday and were hoping to send it out tomorrow. Thanks. I am hoping to photograph my conversion so I can post it. Hopefully on the 12th. Does anyone know if there would be any problem with slipping the forks this weekend?
