Curious about the Corbin smuggler trunk set up. Has anyone bought one yet and if so, how do you like it?
I am assuming the seat and backrest come included in the price.

So how does he like it? I've heard bad things about the comfort and of the seat as well as quality problems with Corbin but I've never dealt with Corbin myself.

I had a Corbin dual tour heated seat last me for 2 bikes.
Both bikes had the beetle bags as well.
I sure miss them.
Quality and comfort was incredible.
No complaints at all, other then my credit card complaining a little.

Can you clarify this a bit, Nepper? It's a bit ambiguous. Are you saying that you have heard bad things about the comfort of the Smuggler seat/backrest, or are you just generalising about Corbin seats ?

I have a first impression writeup on theVOG.
cliff notes:
seat is stiffer than stock, will update as it breaks in
seat is wider than stock, at a stop the edge for me digs in a little to the upper back of my leg. I'm 5'8
I have stock bars and find leaning/sliding back firmly into the backrest leaves my arms a shade too extended but not unbearable.
Quality appears top notch
Storage is lacking for anything tall or larger than a tablet. gloves, glasses and a small humidor should fit fine or a few beers ;-)
