I have just returned from the dealer that was an hour away from my house to pick up my new bike. I was estatic when they called and said it was ready to pick up and rushed down there the next day. When I arrived they gave me the bad news, 2008 visions have been recalled for some "manufacturing problems" as they said. Aparently those who have already gotten theirs will be requested to take them back to the dealer. This should be taken care of into 2008 is what I was told. !!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I am not kidding about this and after reading the other forums I see why you would think I am. I do not know Buckeye or any of the other guys, but what I did post is true. Sorry!!

Wow, someone else knows about the recall as well, I was hoping we would all be riding around on our visions soon in the sun and wind. But I guess all we can just do is print out a picture and frame and dream about it because that will be the only way we will enjoy riding them for awhile.

Yea, the ATC guys think this is funny. The thing is, Volsfan want's to work at Memphis center someday. I'm not sure he's making any friends over there.. Since, they are contractors, (Not really good for anything) and are always negative, they have to bash me and my vision buddies. I wish I could fire them, I've tried, they are like roaches, once they infest! VolsFan had beers at my house last week end, and then back stabs me like this? I hope all ATC kids are not like this. Stupid little trolls, both of them. Oh, I caught Frenchie, VolsFan (justavision), looking at gay porn. They are room mates...and they threw a SmallVille party yesterday. WOW, to much estrogen in that croud!

Currently there are NO recalls listed. See here

Victory will always decide to delay a product or part when they are not satisfied with its quality (ie, Vision chrome forks). JustaVision's "manufacturing problems" are much too vague. John, can you supply a Bulletin # on this? Dealers I've checked with have found no Bulletins on this. Certainly with the thousands of parts that go into a Vision, across hundreds of suppliers, there might be a substandard part that will get recalled in the future. There is nothing so far.

JAM, pay no attention to the post on this site. The idiots who made this are kids who think it's funny to mess with us. I may have to kill them.

Just read on another forum about the Vision production line being shut down until further notice. Conspiring joksters??? One can only hope. Wonder what the issue could be...

If you go to polaris industries.com click on USA and enter recall on their seach engine it lists all recalls. Vision is not one of them. I also entered Vision into the search with similar results. They may have stopped the line to investigate a potential assembly problem. I havent heard anything. How many of you have taken demo rides or those of you that have taken delivery have experienced any real problems? They are required by law to notify owners of a recall. Has anyone that have their bikes heard from the dealer or company? I have been working for new car dealers for over 30 years. The manufacturer will send the dealer what ever they need to fix the vehicle but I have never heard of company asking to have the vehicle sent back.

BMW did this back in '04 for the first round of '05 K1200S bikes that had been shipped to dealers. I don't think any of the impacted bikes had made it into the hands of US buyers but BMW actually end up replacing the first bikes that had been purchased in Europe. (The problem was due to manufacturing defect within the engine.) The recall/buy-back ultimately delayed the US introduction for about 6 months.

I heard the production line was shut down yesterday at 5:pm, but will start again the day after tomorrow at about 8:00am......

Yes, yesterday was Friday, and the day after tomorrow is Monday. I have heard this odd shutdown activity happens every 7 days, seemingly always on a Friday, and always restarting on a Monday... With a "Seinfeld" accent... "What's up with that??"

If we had all waited a year, we would probably be able to walk into a showroom and pick the one we wanted. Sounds too easy.

From what Ive read the freedom drivetrain is proven and dependable. Its the only reason I even considered buying the first model year. Everything else is minor. The lack of dealers would normally present a problem (the closest is 45mi.). But with a bike like that, any to ride is a good reason. No, cant cut the grass this saturday gotta take the Vision to the dealer.

I would assume normal working hours for production are monday-friday. That sounds like a normal work week to me. The recall was a "joke". The guys at work thought would be funny to make us "waiting" visioneers panic. I'm trying to get them all FIRED!
Good guys, just one fry short of a happy meal.

WOW!!, I guess I must have been right about that recall, but for all of those who have not got their bike yet (Buckeye), it is just a delay. But who cares, it's not like anyone really cares now that this worthless company has jacked us all around, so here's to seeing the new visions in 2009!!

I heard they had to recall all the air in the front tires. Evidently it had twice the acceptable level of freshness and not enough stale rubber smell. Can't they get anything right?

And I heard that the fresh air originated from the lungs of a substitute worker. The person that normally blows air in the tires has a second job that causes his/her breath to smell like rubber. Now that the normal worker is back from vacation, the tires will again be filled with the same old smell. Imagine the difficulty involved with trackin that down.....

There are no recalls on the new visions, obviously this guy does not know what he is talking about. I can't wait to get my new vision supposed to be in by the end of this month. Too bad it will be way to cold to ride it in Iowa, but then again who knows

I was just wondering what recall work you had done. Did you leave the dealership with your new Vision you didn't make that clear in your first post. I really like that JMaGee do you have your bike yet. That Is like a little boy saying my toys are better than your toys.

I really don't think she is what you refer to as a Dumb A--. I wonder how you would feel if somebody called your wifeof 15 years a DumbAss. I know most victory owners are good people I know a few. What category do you fit in.

There is NO RECALLS ! anyone who reads this. There is NO RECALL on the vision. justavision is a co-worker of mine, who thinks he's funny. Don't get sand in your drive belt when you read anything from justavision or Volsfan. They are both imature trolls who will have their private information on display if they continue to mess with us. A brother can't take that joke any more. I'm not allowed to give them the 8 second kill due to HRO and Union regs, but putting out there personal info on these cut throats would do them in!
