Jut got Cee Baileys 14" dark tint in the mail and am about to install it. The only instructions are on the sticker on the shield itself. 5-8 inch pound torque for well bolts and 15 - 18 inch pounds on everything else.

Of course I do not have an inch pound torque wrench (go figure) so I have to find one tomorrow. What are well bolts? Not sure what torque for each one..

Go easy on this. I installed mine with relative ease and I'm a rookie, but I've heard of people overtorquing and cracking the ws. Just make sure you don't drop the barrel nut . . . I "lost" mine somewhere in the fairing . . . can't find anywhere! Congrats on Cee Baily's.

you will like the Cee Baileys dark tint. As yes they are easy to drop, other than that an easy install.

BEFORE YOU START- stuff a soft cloth or towel in the cowling opening right below the windshield bracket. If you drop a screw or the backing, you won't have to fish it out from inside the fairing. FYI.
Believe me, I had to learn the hard way. However, if a screw falls in there, use double stick tape and a screwdriver. That's what I used to fish it out. Other than that, a very easy install.

lol I installed it and sure enough I dropped a screw down there lol.. Used a pair of spoons to get it out no problem. I put them all on hand tight and will try to find a torque wrench tomorrow or on my days off.
