I am thinking about installing the 2720 or 2820 on the vision premium tour (aka MotherShip)
question I have is for power and audio interface with the bike. I read that it just connects to the bikes wiring system. My question is do I need anything like audio wiring harness used for the intercom/CB or is the bike ready to go?
I am one of the founding members of the CBC (Cheap B****rds Club) and if I dont need the intercom/cb cable thats great as I will most likely never install the cb
Thanks in advance

The bike is ready to accept the Victory GPS mounting kit. In the kit is the harness from the GPS to the bike. Super easy. Plug and play. You do have to pull the console and drill the mount holes. Takes 30 minutes tops start to finish...

The mounting kit (including Audio Interface Cable) is $99.00 and is a breeze to install as 1atom12 said. the only thing I did differently was to drill a larger hole right inbetween the mounting bracket U-Shape to feed the power/interface cable through the console to hide it. Otherwise, you have to drape it over the side of the console which looks like crap.

The Audio Interface Plug is on the right side of the console (as you are sitting on the bike). Mine was a small green plug interface.

And DON'T buy the GPS from Victory. I got mine refurbished (with the same 1 year garmin Warranty) from EBay for many hundreds of dollars less than Victory sells them for.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago for the same price (probably the same reseller). Everything is as advertised. I also bought the GPS mount kit from my dealer. Installation is pretty straight forward.

My only difficulty was unplugging the flippin' antenna! Any one have any tips on how to do that? I ended up sliding the rubber boot up and using an automotive panel tool to twist/pry the connector out about 1/2" then twisting/pulling by hand to get the thing out. All the while being very careful not to hit any parts with the console. I rarely listen to the radio and though about not plugging the thing back in but I do like having the ability to flip over to the weatherband.
