Ruskin, Fl | I have suspected my clutch was on the way out for a couple of months. I first noticed at highway speed roll on the RPM jumping with no go to match. I have almost 3 million miles combined driving cars, trucks, limos, and motorcycles (104K on Visions alone) and have never wiped out a clutch. Just wanted that discussion off the table. Anyway, I limped home tonight at 25 MPH. Clutch is toast. Looking for recommendations with cams, ECM reflash, timing gear, ect. Will the Barnett replacement plates be enough or should I go full out to a Scorpion?

Ruskin, Fl | Thanks. I bought my bike on Gainsville cause Kevin was still there. He did my timing gear and fuel controller. I did the cams myself and am going to give the clutch a shot myself. Don't have the $$ to get it towed anyway. I spoke with Mike at Lloydz's today. He said they DO NOT recommend the Scorpion clutch pack. I found the Barnett carbon fiber friction plates on eBay for $138 and the gasket for $29. I hate to spend $90 for the tool to use one time. There's a very good video on YouTube that shows how to replace it, and the guy made his own tool, but I don't weld. |

Ruskin, Fl | Thanks Johnny. There is a very good one I was watching. Guy shows on a Cross Counrty, but very through. He mentions the bevel and how they go in. Until I have them in my hand I'm a little nervous. |
