Looking at getting this garage door opener system and wondering if anyone here has installed one on their Vision. How easy is it to get to our high beam wire? What color and where is the easiest. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Go to 'Search" above and enter 'garage door openers' and will find plenty of info.

I had one installed by the dealer...It works like a CHARM!!! It took the dealer about 3 hours to install it according to them...They said they ahd to take off the whole front end to get to everything...Don't know if that is fact or if they used that as an excuse to charge me 3 hours labor....They placed the transmitted under the front fairing shield (large metal piece under the windshield) I have approximately 200 to 300' of range on the transmitter!!! Works every single time!!! Well worth the money!

I installed a Flash2Pass on my 08 Vision. I like it a lot. I think I'm going to get one for the car too.

The Flash2Pass is very easy to intstall. Tap one wire to high beam and the other to ground. I spliced into the wire behind the head light. I did not remove the headlight. I removed the air cleaner which made the wire easier to access. I don't remember the wire color, but it wasn't hard to figure out. I mounted the transmitter to the top of the headlight assembly (under the aluminum cowling).

The system works great in general. I have 100~200 foot distance when the garage door is open. When it's closed, however, I have to be right next to the door to get it to open. I have a metal insulated door so I wonder if that is blocking the signal. Nonetheless it is much more convenient than fumbling for a remote control and takes up no space in the glovebox.
