I got up early this morning to wash my bike (2008 vision tour premium) When I tried to start it up I noticed that the battery meter showed no charge. Nothing worked but the oil light and the neutral light. I hooked my charger up to it and everything cam on for a second then went out again. Now the batter meter stays around 12 but nothing works, horn, flashers, starter.....nothing. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

Sounds like a loose wire. Follow the +wire from the battery to where it is connected by the left floorbroad and make sure that the connections are tight there. ET

Definitely check your battery cables.

I went to start my 2009 Vision with 4000 miles/3months on it and no-go. Like a dead battery. Jumped it from a car using m/c cables and she started right up. Worked fine all day. 5 days later, same thing, 1st start of the morning, but I had read on here some problems experienced with the battery charger plug on the left side of the engine bay, being a problem. So tracing it down to the battery, I wiggled it and it sparked, then I had all the customary dash light illuminate. In checking the neg battery terminal was loose. Go figure! Thanks to the forum, it proved exactly right on! My recommendation, check your batt terminals often. SP in PHX
