If you really want to see the country and "feel " the country and "smell" the country there is no beter way to do it than on a VISION.

We have a radio station here in Richmond called K95, and their little jingle is that as the best that is the reason Richmond spells country K95. My wife says that it sounds like they say that is why Richmond smells country, which we do have a fine sewage treatment plant right on the southside of as you come up I-95 Richmond that is rather ripe in 80 degree weather and smells worse than country.

But, yes there is no better way to see the country and the smells. I can go down a back road and tell you what folk are having for supper, who's drying the clothes, in a dryer and on the line, if they cut the grass recently, or mulched the plants, or have tomatoes in the garden. Riding puts another dimension to life that few will ever know.

Couldn't agree more. A good fired up skunk, to make you wonder why your riding a bike, but when you think about it you'd have the same smell in a car. A good ol fashioned cattle farm which takes me back to my youth. Or the smell of Barbecue which makes my right foot and hand start to press on the brake to pull over. A good pecan pie is always worth pulling over and smelling (tasting)!

I have realized for quite a few years why dogs stick their head out the window, It has to be like a drug, just pushing every kind of smell through a super sniffer at 60mph. What a rush! I do the same thing!
