Just a quick note, or review, of the rubber toe protectors. I bought my set Saturday at the dealer and installed them tonight. They look good, but note for anyone who buys them. UNderneath the rubber protector is 3M double sided adhesive. The part that you peel away is good, however, it looks like they glued the other side to the underside of the rubber protector. Not so good. When I peeled back the red plastic to expose the adhesive, most of the adhesive came up with it. My solution, for those who care, was to use my own 3M tape. The stuff I get is grey, with red tape. use it for a lot of things and it holds really well. Basically pulled off the factory stuff and made my own backing for it. Just thought I'd warn anyone else who wants to get them. Otherwise, they are cool, and it'll be nice to not scuff the fairing every time I stretch out.

I used that invisigard stuff down there. it protects and you cant see it is there. if you email invisigard you can buy piece by piece of their kit.. i have the entire kit but didnt use it all. Its nice. protection without someone seeing it is being protected..

Hey divesharc, I'll be doing the same thing when I get back to my bike. I use the same 3M red for a ton of stuff. It works almost too well for many applications.

I actually used the 3M stuf to mount my RAM ball mount on my console to hold my TomTom GPS inside the RAM aquabox. Driven over 1K and it hasn't shown any sign of coming off yet. The stuff is great. Basically, I think they used a chaper version of that on the underside of the toe protectors, except, it looked like they used glue, because there was a tellow residue on the adhesive. Just thought I'd warn anyone before they got home and got pissed...as I did a little. But, they was a good solution for me.
