Just wondering if anyone else has received their collector's edition Polishing Package in the mail. I received mine yesterday. Had a nice letter in it thanking me for being one of the first year owners of the Vision. It was even stamped by Mark Blackwell, or printed for.

As a token of their appreciation, they were including with the letter, the Victory Collector's Edition Polishing Package, a $25 dollar Value. It had a rag, shampoo, spray on wax, vinyl proctectant, some other bottle I don't remember at the moment all wrapped up, in a pretty little clear bag, with a white tie string. It will get you through a few washings.

Since it is a "Collector's Item" should I use it. I mean they said it was a Collector's item.

It looks more like advertising to get you to use their products. I will be using the products, cause I'm not sure there would be any value down the road.

Now you really want to impress me, send me something I can put on my bike, that will look good and personalize it just for me, as a first year owner.

I'm taking the rest of the day off to stand by my mailbox... wait! That's pollolittle... he just might be pulling our leg. But, if it is a collectors item, is all the products marked collectors or just the bag?

Nothing that I can see is marked Collector's Item, other than the letter. I'm thinking about using all the products then put them back in their bag, that way I can put it on E-bay in 30 years as a first Year collector's item.

No pulling your leg, Letter was dated 13 October 2008. Arrived via USPS in about a 6-8 inch square box. It even had a return address to Victory somewhere up north. I thought for a moment, the dealer sent it, as a promo, but then I read. I feel kinda special. I thought with as many first year folks we have on here there would have been someone else with good fortune.

Maybe this helps offset some of the high premium I paid for the bike. Considering some are listing the bike at many dollars below, what I paid for it.

I just received my complimentary gift box with a new CB Radio and Garmin Navigation System in mine.  Didn't know what to use them for, so I just threw them away.

I'll trade you a cookie jar for it.

Got mine also.  Thought it was a nice gesture and it was a pleasant surprise in the mail.

Thanks to Mark Blackwell and the Victory support team.  I've been one happy customer (once I got the bike) and getting this package out of the blue with no strings attached is just another thing for me to brag about with this company.

You'll be happy with the products, so use them! I've found them to be fantastic. The president of Victory Polishes, Larry Meservey, blogs frequently on Victory-Riders Network about his travels across country meeting with us riders and occasionally detailing their bikes. Thanks to him & Victory for putting the package together.

Aren't you the same guy with the limited Edition Harley Davidson Officially licensed merchandise 1 of 100 rocks. I thought we were already in negotiations over the e-bay rock #1. Which by the way, I'm having #1 shipped out tomorrow, but the bid went extremely low due to the stock market plunge. Are you trying to trade ANOTHER cookie jar or trying to give me the same Cookie jar twice. I'm starting to wonder about you!

Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay!

pollolittle - 2008-10-30 8:59 AM ... It even had a return address to Victory somewhere up north.

I got mine today, but my return address was "L Meservy" (spelling?) in Daytona Beach, FL (Maybe some Florida sunshine packed in with it, to spread over my Vision...) I thought it was a nice gesture.

Or..... I'm really paranoid now.... They must've been spying on me, and it's a subtle hint that I need to wash my bike! (Althought the windshield is now clean, since I put my new Cee Bailey shield on it yesterday!)

Got mine today. I'd rather they pay some personal attention to their customers though. Feels like a pacifier for dropping the ball on sooo many things.

Wife told me I got mine yesterday.
I already use the products and like it. Now I don't have to replace some of it when it runs out.

Nice of him to send it me thinks!

BTW I use it on my road truck too since it works better then a lot of the "big trucker" stuff.

Received mine on 10/30/08. Will be using it soon. Free stuff is always great. Sounds like Victory is trying....Sometimes just a bit misplaced, but still trying.....

got home from work last night and sitting on the table was the collector polsihing kit. I thought it was a great ideal on Victory part to do this. Gives all a chance to try more of Victorys products.

It's a ploy use it once and you will need to go buy more to keep the bike clean. I'm not going to fall for it. it's a trick I tell you. no I am not going to clean my bike.... much better to ride
