29 Palms California | I need your help Gents. My dealer is telling me his computer is showing my bike now shipping on the 7th. After the 5th "faint" of delivery, I'm having trouble believing "his" computer. Anyone know of a MidNight Cherry Tour or Tour Comfort in SOCAL on the floor? Thanks in advance...I'm ready to lock and load and low crawl......Someones got to have one and want my money |

LaPorte,Tx. | This delaying is happening all over right now. Just got off the phone with the dealer, they moved my ship date from yesterday to Dec. 25th, and he is not positive it will even ship then. They are still claiming they are still filling pre-order premium orders...........BS! |

29 Palms California | yeah, I would buy that, but I been on line and see visions for sale thru out the entire country. There is 4 in Scottsdale, Az alone. these are on the floor, ready to sell.... Just not my color, or I'd be on the road thursday night. I'm no longer being passive, and I'm attempting to be proactive towards my aquiring a vision tour. I have a passion for getting this bike that I don't think my shop shares with me. No sense of ergency makes my PTSD raise. Plus, they got 2, I SAY AGAIN 2 Bikes in, a black street pre order, and a black tour premium last week. Don't blow smoke up my wazzu that they are not shipping premiums. they just aint shipping my tour to my shop, because someone doesn't own a set of huevos, or can't pull there cranium from their star fish! |

29 Palms California | THANK YOU! If it wasn't an 8 hour drive, I'd be taking off today. I also have to do a trade in of the 2003 E-Glide. I'm going to give this plea, and my dealer till the end of my shift Thursday. If I get no joy, I will be calling Mike. Heck, it might even be a good little family weekend. I've been to their site, and wondering how he's getting bikes in while I sit here visionless. . |

V-Twins 101 has a bunch of Premium Street and Tours in stock. They have Black, Black Cherry and Super Steel Gray as of the weekend.
Ask for Charlie and tell him Tim sent you.
He also sells used Harley Davidsons, so your trade in should not be a problem.

Scottsdale AZ | I think the key to the deal was ordering, in addition to the preorders. I think he ordered 60 or 70 up front so I think he gets some normal allocation, and, has some leverage as a high volume dealer. He also owns the dealership in Phoenix, so he could get it up there for delivery. That is probably closer. Good Luck! |

LaPorte,Tx. | This goes to show that dealers are the issue in this crap shoot. Any dealer that wanted to sell the Visions, planned ahead. The rest of the dealers just play the customers along. Victory really needs to take heed of what is going on here. Customers have thousands of dollars in dealers hands right now in the form of deposits, and they, the customers, are not getting the motorcycles, I just don't understand this. Then there are dealers that don't have deposits on motorcycles and they have a large selections of all colors, models and Premiums. Then I have the dealer say, your not getting yours after giving your deposit three and half months ago, because they are still fulfilling pre-order Premium CUSTOMER orders. This is obviously not the case as V-Twin has a "bunch" of Premium Visions on the floor for immediate sale. This is not the way to float the boat. |

Brighton, TN | I do wonder if it is actually the dealer in all of this. Not to defend one, is there anybody on here that is actually the dealer (THE MAN)? I would be interested to know if the problem is the dealer or the company. One knothead in the shipping department or ordering dept, can totally hose it and wee wee all over shipping and ordering. Or is it the regional manager specifying where his large market shares are and then that is who gets what first and how much. I understand from the business side, they probably need to recoup money on this investment before the quarter ends to use it for their stockholders and the bottom line, to show profit or increased value. However, this does nothing to help solve the issue of ordering one and still not having one. According to my dealer, he had put in his order, and he is left to the mercy of when it shows up. So, if you take the regional manager to lunch, maybe yours shows up quicker.

29 Palms California | YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! How on earth can they have all those bikes? I mean, it's only about 75 miles more for me to go there....it's about 170 miles from my house. If I don't get an answer from my dealer by end of shift tomorrow, I'm definetly going west! Now, I just have to wonder if they will give me my 1G back. |

Brighton, TN | I'd be there tomorrow or COB today, if I could swing it. Apparently, you called them? Boy, 1G, what to do? Accessories, VESPA, chrome, Vespa, etc. If you are so tight with your dealer, they should give it back to you. They shouldn't even be upset you went somewhere else to purchase it. They should be happy to still have you as a customer, because I assume some maintenance and warranty will be done with them, not from the one you will buy it from. |

Brighton, TN | next Friday or this Friday? Protect the junk with steel cup and bring it. Hey, I tried to get one shipped to you from Alabama. I can't help it if you resist to ride a good SCOOTER! No trailer for me, I'm removing the passenger seat to install 5th wheel hitch or gooseneck and pull my RV around. So There, I'll have the kitchen sink, potty, bedroom, living room, and closet space for my extra clothes and riding gear. |

29 Palms California | Im coming to Tennessee and be the first one to take a HUGE DUECE in your rv. LOL... Vespa....bah! My junk is way to big to be protected by a steel cup. I have to use a knights shield and salad tongs!
My shop has had "words" with a certain district manager. I believe some furr did fly. Now, they tell me they think my bike shipped last friday and should be in tomorrow. They are the closest I have and need them on my side in case of maintenance., however, as previously stated, If I don't get confirmation on my bike being with in 1 day from my shop, I travel to the coast and pick up my new vision from them. |

Brighton, TN | It is a Toy Hauler, you could put your Duece in it. I would have liked to have seen the furr fly. Tomorrow, HMMMMM! Of course you need them on your side. I am seriously thinking about becoming a dealer and see what all the fuss is about. I would have thought your dealer could have went to the factory and intercepted one on your behalf and hauled it back by now and for less money. I wonder. Maybe if I become a dealer then I might a bit more than I do now. |

I brought my bike in yesterday for its 500 mile tuneup. V-Twins 101 had all 3 colors of Premiums on the showroom floor. Head on up, they are not far from 29 Palms.

So Cal | V-twins 101 in Camarillo seems to be THE place for Visions. Charlie told us he ordered 75 bikes.
As far as the 1G, my old dealer said they wouldnt refund my deposit until they sold the bike. Had a lawyer friend send them a letter. Wouldnt you know, they sold the bike, right after they got the letter.
Wouldnt send the deposit back. Wife had to go and sign some paper before they released the funds. |
