I am looking for a rear seat bag for my 08 Vision Tour. I first liked the Solo Bag offered by Victory but I hear it is not water-tight. The Kuryakyn Grand Tour Bag comes with a rain cover and looks to be a little larger. Has anyone tried the Kuryakyn bag on a Tour? How well does it fit into the back seat with the top case? Does it fit well enough to act as a good backrest also? If someone has one can you please help me decide.

I've got the bag and use it regularly (they make like 3 different sizes). I suppose you could use it for back support but I use my Utopia backrest for that and my Kury bag fits nicely on the passenger seat area.
Here is an old biker trick; If you like the Victory bag more pack the stuff you will be taking in platic bags then place them inside the Vic bag. I have a bunch of clear zip bags (the kind blankets come in) that I package all my stuff in regardless of what outer bag they'll be stowed in. In fact my rain gear is in one of these bags and tucked into my saddlebag.
Good luck with the choices but do bag everything in plastic.

Thanks for the response. If it fits behind the backrest it sounds like there is ample space. The model 4141 has an adjustable velcro backrest that I thought would be useful..
